I got two of them. One's named Lefty and the other is called Steve. Lefty is really good at DOJ, but has a little trouble with the last boss. Steve is a really good listener; he knows just what to say when I'm down to cheer me back up :)

There's a robot shop on my block, unfortunately the best thing they have is an Aibo for €€€

If they had a quartet of QRIO dancing about I'd spend all day in there :)

Thats incredible how it moves so fluidly, 1 step closer to terminators.

10 years ago that technology would have been unbelievable, few years from now toys may have some of those properties, real issue would be cost of components and construction materials.

Just think eventually computers will be more powerful than the human brain, in theory if you could download a human brain and stick in a futuristic version of qrio you could be imortal. bit like ghost in the shell, good old artificial endoskeleton and no one would know your like 150 years old. maybe someday that'll be possible. that technology could be great for artificial limbs the whole dynamic walking thing.

It's a fact that machines can play Shmups better than us.

Are those the Sony robots?

Has anyone seen the Honda robot videos?

http://world.honda.com/ASIMO/

the one where he walks down the stairs towards the camera scares me for some reason

EDIT:
the new /run video for Asimo MKII is pretty cool too:

http://world.honda.com/run/ (takes ages to download though)

Man, I love robots :)
