Turbo Duo hardware question...
So I keep hearing about capacitor failures in Turbo Duos, and I watched a video where a guy replaced the capacitors in one. Is this as big of a problem in the Japanese Turbo Duo, or other Duo models, as it is in the American Turbo Duo? I have not heard anything about capacitors needing to be replaced in those consoles.

Re: Turbo Duo hardware question...
PC Engine duos have the same capacitor problem as the Turbo Duos. The Duo R and RX (the white ones) models however do not.

I have heard nothing about widespread capacitor failiures in the TG16 og PC Engine/CoreGrafx I,II systems.
It is pretty much just the Turbo Duo and regular PC Engine Duos that were served with that bad batch of capacitors.

The LT and the Super CD add-on are known to suffer from capacitor issues as well.
