What is this shmup/game I'm thinking of? thread.

Hi guys,

In shmup #IRC Delano- asked about a beat 'em up game where the protagonist wore red pants and rode through a desert wasteland and went into an underground base for a friend. It is Taito's Kuri Kinton. (Hope you see this Delano-! hehehe)

I see some threads about this, so I'd thought I'd start a main thread in here! Let's all try help people reconnect with those shmups or other games that they've forgotten!

A mounted gun coin-op game with (I think) raster graphics that seemed to begin on a high floor in a room with porte-fenêtre window(s) where some dude(s) with horns and bat wings would attack from the outside. I remember broken glass on the floor.

There's this old game I'm trying to remember for a long time now but I can't figure it out.

I believe it's a Mega-Drive game, but could also be a Master System one. It's a side-scrolling platformer. There are 6 stages you can select and you can do them in any order. One of them is a forest stage, another is a city stage (with a thug as a boss), and another is a city at night. After those 6 stages you have a level in the sky, then the final stage. I think you could select multiple characters, and if one died you had to pick another. Characters could do a special move that the entire screen would flash white and (I think) kill all enemies on screen.

Some of the details might be wrong but that's the gist of it.
