Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Next year I'm looking forward to Danganronpa: Another Episode, Earth Defense Force 2, Toukiden Kiwami, God Eater 2 Rage Burst, and Oreshika (the only one that's been announced for NA or Europe lol). Still, I'm not sure how much I'd play either of the hunting games when Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will probably be out before them. Persona 4 Dancing might be alright as well, but it could also be a total cash-in. I'll wait and see with that one.

Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
I really want God Eater 2 and PSNova to come out over here, damnit.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
I wish Danganronpa: Another Episode would be announced for localization already. It's pretty likely to be, so I'm not too worried though. More worried about Corpse Party: Blood Drive.iconoclast wrote:Next year I'm looking forward to Danganronpa: Another Episode, Earth Defense Force 2, Toukiden Kiwami, God Eater 2 Rage Burst, and Oreshika (the only one that's been announced for NA or Europe lol). Forgot in the list, but I'll probably be getting Pier Solar in 2015 too. I'm assuming that will make 2015 since it's really just a port of a already very multiplatform game.
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Would it kill them to do a new Darius Burst for Vita? Please?
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
The lack of 60 fps is definitely noticeable but it's something you get used to after a while. It plays really well on the Vita, the perfect kind of game for the system. Just don't expect the smoothness of the PS4 version.
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
I don't see why?
Youtube video tells us nothing about image quality or framerate. Are there any gameplay elements you think is missing (the video is easy difficulty btw)?
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
The game I'd love to see come to Vita is Valiant Hearts. I mean... I completed it on PS4, but it would be such a lovely game to be able to take on the road.
I know it's portable via iOS (and I'm happy to play mobile games), but I think it would have felt a little nicer on Vita.

Could be that they're doing a later outsourced port for 2x sales like they did with Child of Light.spadgy wrote:The game I'd love to see come to Vita is Valiant Hearts. I mean... I completed it on PS4, but it would be such a lovely game to be able to take on the road.
Or maybe Child of Light did badly because of that stupidity and that scared them from releasing more Vita games.
Also thinks I forgot to list earlier: Roundabout and hoping for a localization of Ar Nosurge Plus.
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Resogun is interesting. It has a day 1 patch and is still broken, you can't get past the title screen because of a bug with license checking.
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Seems the Resogun Vita problem relates to the PS4 licesnse:

Following these directions fixed the problem for me.ShadowJR wrote:Go to store website and add the 3 RESOGUN versions to your cart, then do the check out (should be free)
Then delete the RESOGUN version on the Vita and then go to your download list and download it again. Then wait till the update file complete download and click to update RESOGUN. Voila your game should be working now on the vita.
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
So I got Resogun working by "purchasing" the PS4 version I already have as mentioned. Sony's incompetence is scary considering they're in charge of a PSN account I've put a lot of money into.
It's a nice port. 30 FPS is a noticeable downgrade, but it's still very playable. It's not as if you have any other options if you want portable Resogun.

At the local Gamestops today dated 12-26-2014, you can buy a brand new 32gb Vita memory card for a mere $49.99 (rather than ponying up the MSRP of $79.99). Managed to grab one at that attractive low pricepoint today.
Some other Vita steals include a brand new copy of Vita Freedom Wars for a mere $14.99 and a PlayStation TV micro console for a mere $79.99 at the local Gamestops today as well.
Only if SCEA had some 64gb Vita memory cards for sale/distribution stateside, what would be a good MSRP to sell it at? Perhaps at the $85.00 to $95.00 range?

Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
64 GB is still too small. We should be getting 128 GB already. Even that wouldn't be enough for me to be comfortable with the space available on my Vita. Sure it would be enough for the games, but I really want to have enough storage to use the Vita as a music/video player someday.
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
I must get around to purchasing Resogun. Are the problems sorted without the need for too much messing around now?
I hear you. I'm on my 4th card, (a mix of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB, IIRC) and as much as I love the platform, I'm tired of deleting stuff and not using the full feature set. I could be a little less stingy, but I'd really like some more affordable and high-capacity cards!ZellSF wrote:64 GB is still too small. We should be getting 128 GB already. Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
I figured I should post about this: Best Buy, Amazon, and others have put several early Vita games at the $4.99 level. I picked up Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time and WipeOut 2048 for $4.99 each yesterday. If you can find it, Gravity Rush should be the same amount, as should Resistance and some others.
Just so you know.

Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Does anyone know if the compatibility of the PS TV has improved at all, or is it still garbage like it was back in October?
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Late, but: If someone hasn't said a game works, assume it doesn't. Remember game region is important.Austin wrote:Does anyone know if the compatibility of the PS TV has improved at all, or is it still garbage like it was back in October?
PS+ members is getting 5 days free and all PSN users are getting a 10% off code for a single cart purchase (PSN cart max size = 10 items) sometime in the future.
Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Duke Nukem 3D is finally released (and free for PS+ subscribers too). If you've never played Duke Nukem 3D before you should definitely try it out.
Controls are a bit meh, analogs feel fine, but two actions have to be mapped to touchscreen and crouch is a hold type button (would much prefer it to be a toggle). You're not going to play as well as you did on the 360 version.
Other things I miss: options for turning bilinear filtering and autoaim off.
Those are minor complaints though, it looks and plays fantastic. One of the best handheld games available today.

Pretty short window for the 10% discount (23-26), also there's apparently a 150$ limit to the SEN wallet.
Meaning a maximum discount of 15$ if you spend 150$. So not a good deal at all, but might as well pick up stuff that never gets discounted otherwise.

Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
The 20th Anniversary sale that's going on right now has some really good deals, a lot of stuff is 50% off which is significant.
Persona 4 Golden for $15 is a hell of a deal, lots of good PSP games are $10.

I see Pixel Junk Shooter Ultimate is on sale now. Does anyone know if it has the 2 player coop mode like on the PS3?

It's kernel exploit time again. Anyone who wants to update their Vita better be quick.
Personally not bothering (even though I have the exploit game...), with La-Mulana coming this month.

I didn't even know an exploit was available....ZellSF wrote:It's kernel exploit time again. Anyone who wants to update their Vita better be quick.

What can you do with the exploit so far?

Please elaborate.. I'm curious.ZellSF wrote:It's kernel exploit time again. Anyone who wants to update their Vita better be quick.

Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Just reviving this to comment on some ports lately:
La-Mulana is perfect on the Vita. 2x scaled (black bars the rest of the way). Lowest input lag available (unless you want to play the Wii version on a CRT).
Shovel Knight also looks perfectly scaled on the Vita, but I have no idea why. The 3DS version is native resolution and 240 does not fit into 544. Maybe it's just the small screen combined with the large resolution the scaler has to work with. Definitely blows the 3DS version away at any rate.
Sayonara UmiharaKawase + is a smooth 60 FPS, subnative 3D graphics though. Still much better than the 3DS version, but disappointing. It does show how great the Vita would be as an emulator device though, the included version of the original game looks amazing.

Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Vita's getting Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Zero Escape 3.
Still concerned about ports being silently cancelled:
Axiom Verge
Oddworld: New 'N Tasty (this year, supposedly)
Pier Solar
Roundabout
The Banner Saga
VVVVVV
Why are these things taking so long to port

Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Anyone bought Tetris Ultimate for Vita?
Am I blind or is it really missing a highscore table?? That's like the most basic feature a Tetris game must have!
All you have are the online leaderboards but your scores won't upload if you don't play on default settings. Also I play this on the go without internet connection. It's not possible to check my scores for the different play modes. All you have is the topscore for the marathon and 3 minutes modes in the progress section. No scoretable and no scores for the other modes are present as far as i can see. What a joke!
PS: Also half of the time it logs me in as guest and ignores my PSN name!

Re: The PS Vita Thread - Remote Play for all PS4 Games
Bought this Mayflash Universal Adapter for use on the USA region PS TV and JPN region Vita TV micro consoles:
http://www.amazon.com/MAYFLASH-Universa ... Descending
Works like a charm to use a PS3 based Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 Special Addition (endowed with all Sanwa parts) variant arcade joystick on a PS TV or Vita TV setup with no lag issues to contend with whatsoever. As a bonus, Jeff Minter's TxK has full arcade joystick support from the get-go (which is pure "extra" frosting/icing on the cake if you will). If you use either a Dual Shock 3 or Dual Shock 4 controller in conjuction with the MUA & desired plugged-in gaming control device, it'll register as a "number 2" controller on the PS TV or Vita TV micro console itself (while still providing full functionality if it needed be). Easy as pie to use.
Plus, the fact that the MUA device has built-in auto-fire capability (is another plus in my book when playing games on the ol' PS TV & Vita TV as well).
It's possible to use a Hori 360 RAP setup with the MUA on a PS Vita & Vita TV also.
