While the wages and salaries of non-managing workers have already been shrinking for years, inflation accelerated. Masses of people are getting poorer, so businesses already have what they want, but I guess they won't be satisfied until we end up costing as much as a Chinese or Pakistani slave.
Meanwhile our idiot governement(s) yield to pressure and lower taxes for (big) businesses (not people) and even give'em tens of billions to help them hire people, help money from our pockets without asking anything in return, no guarantees nada!
With that funding, big businesses felt it was time to show just how incredibly cynical bastards they could be, moving more of our jobs to poorer countries and raising their shareholders gains more than ever.
Our desperately stupid gov' (note: here in France) expressed how disappointed they were, while our businesses just had a good loud laugh in the media.
These people who represent the so-called 'forces of our economy', 'titans', simply fuck everything as long as it makes them - the owners - richer and richer. They take advantage of everything and everyone, don't reinvest, hide their gains in tax havens, destroy jobs, shit in the people's face, and while we strive and still get more miserable by the day, we're supposed to thank them ?
