Unfortunately, first impression is a rather bad one...unlike the nice Strikers II 'port' on Android this one runs like a three legged dog. It's also a freaking huge one (over 800 MB) and unlike Strikers or Deathsmiles overloaded with f2p customization bullshit. Hopping on a multiplayer round didn't work either...
I'll keep this one on my phone in case they fix the performance but so far...not so good.

Agreed. It doesn't run well. Can't understand where the weird breaks before boss battles come from. Switching between shot and laser feels fiddly too. It's not as terribad as I was expecting but it's certainly not CAVE quality.

Why? I doubt it's much effort (see: cave released their games internationally)

Because Cave and NHN haven't said anything about it being international; and that usually means Japan only (especially in Cave's case. A news article about the game appeared on their Japanese site, but not on the English version)

5 minutes of downloading resourses via wi-fi and you can play.

Game based on mushi futari, but sprites and enemy placement are different. Terrible fps, lags and animation... Delete this app as quick, as you can...

For a 2D like that it took too much time to be installed, it also takes a lot of time to be loaded and the frame-rate at my phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace 2) is crap. And this phone can easily handle games with much higher requirements. The developers made such a lousy job. Therefore I deleted it immediately. From overpriced smartphone ports of older hits to shitty F2P treatment from other companies. How lower can they get?

Just grabbed on iOS.

When I first started, the game just sat at the title screen. Turns out, it needs to download some more shit and doesn't seem to want to do that over cellular data and instead of saying so, it just shows you a picture instead. I'm not sure how Cave's Futari port looks, but aside from bullets and your character everything is pretty blurry. There also seems to be some sort of weird lag between menus - either that or it's not recognizing my first tap.

Game seems to run slow by design, which is really obnoxious. When you get hit, it drops your power level. Tried playing VS but no one to play against and there doesn't seem to be a VS CPU option.

Runs poorly even on my brand-new Moto X 2014. Awful.

The only positive thing I'll say is that maybe it could lead at least one person to discover the original game. That's about it.

I don't know, it seems to run decently on my iphone 5. I mean, besides the constant tips and comments from the characters. I don't really want to register a name for this, so I have to shut the game down by stopping the app. If you register, do all the comments go away?

The talking stops right after the tutorial ends. Beaware of Korean RNG though.

I'm probably not going to bother with this one. It looks like a bastardized Futari mutilated into a micro-transaction filled mobile game.

On a side note, I laughed out loud when I saw one of the app store preview pics advertising the "epic storyline" and the multitude of deviantart style recolors/OCs being introduced.

I actually bought futari black label for my iphone a long time ago while it was on sale, but I never booted it up once since I had the 360 port with DLC. Really there's no reason for Mushi Duel to exist other than to take money from gullible people.

Nah, it's Futari, unless that changes later on.

lol wtf is going on with this game

the framerate, larsa's pattern and all the f2p rubbish is just terrible.

It downloads stuff every time you open it. Today I tried to log on to get my sign in bonus and it wouldn't open because I didn't have enough free space.

Original size was ~70 MB, currently taking up over 300.

Edit: 463. Literally my biggest non-music app.
