Custom MAME overlays for Cave shmups

Has anybody made any custom art or bezels to play Cave STGs with in MAME? And if no, why not? Would be cool to have some sweet overlays for the screen sides when playing, like the Xbox 360 versions have. We should do this if there arnt any. Any Cave fan photoshop users out there? I am a Cave fan but know nothing about photoshop, still, I would be willing to work on this if anyone has any ideas.

I got a .lay working to be able to PUT said stuff for vert games in general but haven't got the art assets to do anything useful with it. The most I tested was some generic bubble wallpaper while playing G-Stream G2020.

I had found some decent ones for Dangun Feveron, DoDonPachi, ESP.Ra.De. and Espgaluda here

Some are meant for tate use (movestrip at the bottom, slightly smaller game view) and others for yoko (info in the empty space on each side), it's a bit inconsistent

The whole of MAMEWorld is currently down. There was a news post yesterday about it doing some kind of maintenance/upgrade/DNS stuff for 48 hours.
