name this old SNES racing game

I can't remember the title.

Overhead view. similiar to spyhunter in its presentation.

I know it was an A-X game, a to accelerate, and X was turbo. I want to say the "Brazil" was the first stage. very vertical shmup like. perfection of control was demanded.

I remember I rented it it for a weekend and the first 3-4 hours I couldn't beat the first track. pissed me off so bad. then I found the GD X button and proceeded to wear the game out. Nearly finished it, but the rental period expired.

Wasent there a racer like you describe called Cyber Spin?
I believe the cars were Formula 1 style.
Pretty much a "watch out for the next curve" type, but like you said, completely overhead-vert/birds eye view/ whatever ems.
