db Grafx Booster TTP Tested and Fully Operational

This seems like something worth having its own thread, apparently it's RGB for TG16/PC-E and very easy to install.

Does it work with any CD-ROM equipped systems? The plugin there looks nice but it would block plugging the system into an IFU-30, for instance, if what I think is true.

Yup, this only works on a lone core unit. All in one systems like the Duo wont work with this either since they lack the output port.

It is a nice solution if you want to play HU-card games on your PC Engine/Turbo Grafx without any modifications.

I wonder whether it has visual artefacts like banding that other RGB solutions exhibit.

Well that pretty much kills it.

Not necessarily - I wouldn't mind being able to use a cheap basic unit and get RGB out of it without modifications.

Though, I must say, it is quite ugly to have a bare PCB hanging off of the posterior of something with the otherwise stunning aesthetics of a PC Engine.

I rather just RGB mod my units, the end result is much more sleek looking, albeit intrusive.

True, but using the PCB allows you to then put the unit back into a CD-ROM interface.

A mod will allow the same, I do that with my unit.

Awesome, but I'd rather do an internal mod and leave the expansion slot free for the inevitable CD-ROM emulator.
