Sega Naomi to RGB Scart

Hi all

Is there a way to connect a Naomi to an RGB TV. I know you can flick the dip to 15Khz but can you take the RGB and Vsync/Hsync from the VGA port and wire it to scart. Would it need a sync stripper at all?

Just tie the H and V Sync together and you should be fine, or if you are using a Jamma style I/O just grab the C-Sync from there.

I think there's a lot of confusion around what this device does. As Naomi doesn't output Composite Video, there's nothing to strip to get RAW sync.

Or it's simply a confusion of terms and he is talking about a sync combiner like the ArcadeForge Ultimate SCART Adapter, BBS Kenzei or DIY.

SEGA I/O already combines the syncs to get CSYNC, no need for any additional device. It has RGBS through JAMMA pins, just wire a scart cable with 220ohms on each signal, that's enough.
