Getting 99 lives in Radiant Silvergun?

I heard that in Radiant Silvergun for the Xbox Live Arcade that you can gain lives faster if you leave the game paused for a while on the Story Mode. So I thought I should leave the game on for a few days paused. But I think it's a waste of electricity, yes? So is there a better way to gain 99 lives other than just leaving the game paused? How long should I leave the game paused? I do know that every hour you put in the game you gain more lives.

How about just playing the game and practising, and who knows, you might not even need the 99 lives.

Well the for news is you don't have to wait 99 hours to get enough lives to beat the game! After 7 hours of combined play time freeplay unlocks and you have unlimited credits. I guess it would be much easier to 1cc the game with 99 lives though

Hey, Radiant Silvergun is an okay game, it's not that great, but I actually like Ikaruga better.
