Well, I went ahead and ordered a 32 GB Wii U. Comes with New Super Mario Bros Land World Cookie U. Well, you get the idea.

I have Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3 already. I'm worried Pikmin 3 is going to be too easy, but I guess I'll deal. I'm guessing like all Nintendo offerings, it has no difficulty settings.
Just got the Pro Controller in yesterday. The price was absurd. But, it's a damn nice controller. So, good on them for that one.

I pretty much got this for Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101. B2 looks to be killer, and that it comes with the first one as well is nice. I have the 360 version, but wouldn't mind one without all the screen tearing.

I doubt this will be a system I use much, but I hope I can end up with around 10 games for it, by the time it's lifespan is over.

well just to reinforce your decision to purchase, bayonetta has been blowing up the scoring charts with 10/10s from eurogamer, gamespot, edge, giantbomb, destructoid, etc..

there's itagaki's "the devil's third" too which is another potential/future wii u release.

My twin got Hyrule Warriors and didn't like it, so he passed it on to me .. it's been ok but only because I'm terrible at 3D action games. I'm sure anyone experienced with the genre would find it boring .. lol

Got MH3U and going to mutilate the online co-op scene. My only problem with the transfer program between the 3ds and wiiu is it deletes the save files from my 3ds

Played the Bayonetta 2 demo - incredible, though I am incredibly bad at playing it.

Okie Dokie...

Got A Wii U. HATE HATE HATE the shiny plastic. Ugh. I'll have to get silicone to wrap all on it, so it doesn't look like a scuffed up mess in 2 days.

Anyway, been playing Wonderful 101. Now, I can totally see how this has some "mixed" scores. And for people who say the controls aren't "fiddly", are full of garbage. I was trying to draw that damn triangle with the Pro Controller, and could not do it. I got frustrated, and just drew a very clear triangle on the controller, and nothing. I can do it now, but it's super finnicky, and I can't really tell why it doesn't work at times.

As for the game....yowza...it's...insane. I didn't really like it at first. And it's so weird. But as it goes on, there's some brilliance going on. I'd give the game an 8 so far, but I'm really early on. It's a grower.
Kind of reminds me of God Hand, in a way. I was so put off by that game early on, but I stuck with it, and I got into it. This is easier to get into, because of all the big set pieces.
It really seems like the director is going for SO MUCH, that there's some clumsiness here and there. But I'd rather see someone falter a bit, and dream big, than someone nail something perfectly, but it's just "alright".
Also, I'm a bit let down by the graphics. It doesn't have much detail. It screams Pikmin all over the place, but Pikmin has those photo realistic backgrounds.

Honestly, Wonderful 101 is such an odd game, and a brilliant yet flawed game, that I could see some serious discusions going on about it. But I doubt that will happen, since it sold like 5 copies.

Bayonetta 2 demo...well, it was great, and everyone knows that.

You should probably get that bipolar disorder in check, Drum.

I honestly thought back at launch that ZombiU looked really cool, not worth buying a system for though.
Saw a brand new copy at my target here in Canada for $4.98 so I couldn't help but get it. Now I need a Wii U...
Still don't feel they are worth the asking price. Can't find much else on the system I want to play.
I hate smash bros and Mario kart....

It's an even 200 zenny on their website refurbished, which is around what a home console's worth paying for.

... Just uh, yeah man... Maybe with Zelda 2015 edition it could be marginal. Until then it's still

No, Tetris 2/Tetris Flash revolutionized it first with it's multiple Tetris block formations. ;)

Tetris 2 is non-canon. They aren't even tetriminos. Where gluing two pills into an L is genius.

I think they should have an option where from one click it loads the Wii Disc in Wii Mode, instead of having to go into Wii Mode and load a disc.

There is also that Digital Deluxe Program, which only applies to the 32G model, where you basically receive 10% back in Nintendo points for any money spent on digital downloads for your Wii U. If you plan to download a lot, this + the additional disk space might make the 32G model a better choice.

Few more days for Bayonetta 2 >__>
Anyone else hyped?

I tried the demo and thought that it sucked;
But the music rocks, it has great reviews, and Bayonetta is hot.. so I'm still going to buy it
It's been a long time since I bought a new expensive game, so I'm also doing it for a change. =)
