Starting to listen to audiobooks, and picked up Joseph Anton, Salmam Rushdie's memoir. It's a very very good book, but it's read by someone other than the author and I presume this is why the reader has changed all of the pronouns to the third person - it doesn't make things very hard to follow, but harder than they should be.

Edit:apparently this is just the way the book is written? Bah.

Dish has always been the junk provider, as far as my brother says. He says he had it years ago living down in Missouri, but since they've pulled Cartoon Network, I'm expecting them to lose a ton of customers right off the bat. Stupid move I would think. At least when Directv got rid of G4, they did everyone on there a favor because that channel went downhill really quickly after that.

Ikr. They dropped their original programming in preparation to change into a new channel, only to take about a year to do so. Anyway, I'm hoping that this isn't permanent, but I'm anticipating switching providers.

Completely unrelated: Why the hell did Nintendo redo and replace a bunch of the voice actors for some of the Smash Bros. characters? Fox's new voice actor is just terrible, and Sonic I'm pretty sure is the same guy but they had him do everything over again, and Ness is pretty good but his "PK Starstorm" is barely intelligible. When Sakurai said they "rebuilt the characters from the ground up", that's probably what he meant instead of the careful consideration he was describing. Also, why are there challenges involving streetpass but not online? Streetpass isn't as popular as Nintendo seems to think.
