I volunteer for metal slug X, I 1ccd the game in middle school. This was before I even knew what a 1cc was, it was more like, "mom gave me one lousy quarter to spend at the laundry shop so I'd better make it last". No replays to offer, but extensive knowledge of the game I do.

I have beaten Metal Slug 1, X, 3, and 7 on one life with all prisoners rescued and with respectable scores. Got most of them on replay too, though I'm sure my scores are still nothing compared to the extremely dedicated score-players (enemy wave milking is so boring!). Still working on doing so with the rest of the games. I think JoshF is probably the resident expert on the first game at least though, if not more of them. He really knows that game inside-out.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

As I've said before:
Lord Satori wrote:Also, if you need replays and stuff for games like the XOP series, Samidare, RefRain, or Erst Kerf, then I have some. (though, only the ones for the XOP games would actually be mine :P)

Theoretically, I could also come on for XOP, or Project Blank (those two should be in a single episode) but I've never skyped before so it would take awhile to set up, as well as a "practice call" of some sort a day before or something like that.
I would probably need more notice/preparation for XOP than for Project Blank. With XOP I'd have to make sure each replay is working (I'd do each level in score attack instead of arcade mode for Black) and probably re-do a few to get higher quality...

With Project Blank, I have all the replays ready to go, I know more about Samidare than RefRain, but would still be willing to commentate on both if they were done in a single episode (which they probably should be). Like I said, the replays aren't mine.

Oh, and if you ever do Tyrians arcade or super arcade mode in an episode I could comment on that since I know all the ins and out of Tyrian by now.

Lets see... I did mention Erst Kerf, but I know very little about that game and I doubt you'd find another commentator so I'll forget that one.

I think that's it. I hope to hear back from you guys.

LordHypnos just volunteered about 5 posts north of your post. He's surely capable of explaining the game.

Apparently I should complain in here more often! Things get done!

You guys are awesome. :3

Seems like we do indeed have people willing to comment for Metal Slug, Mars Matrix, and more. I'll add all of this info to our planning sheet; hopefully we can get these pushed out soon!

Yessssss I need to learn how to play PS. We should ping Icarus (and the other players who wreck the game; can't recall names at the moment but it'll come to me) and get plans going; this has to happen.
Just a few notes RE Pink Sweets:

• There is no known max-rank scoring ALL replay currently available. The furthest any known max-rank run goes is my PB with Lace on ver 1.00, which game overed at the third midboss of stage6. YOS.K's run, which maxes rank as early as the first midboss of stage2, ends at the stage5 boss just short of a letter score. Zerst's Lace ALL was done on the emulated arcade version with infinite lives triggered.
• AZI's low-rank-controlled scoring ALL with Kasumi is available but only scores via medals, and misses out on all of the major bullet-cancelling scoring tricks eg st4 midboss1.
• I have no problem helping with commentary for whatever episodes you want to run if you need me, be it for PS, CC:WI or whatever, but I'll be travelling for three weeks starting October 28th, so won't be available to comment on any games until I get back, around mid-November.

You can count on me for nes contra, kage, talespin, recca, and a few others, gradius gaiden, few others. I will post an updated list of games i can comment on later.

Hey guys,

I've put up a Google Doc where you guys can add yourselves and list what games you have (and replay video links). Please feel free to add yourselves and then we'll contact you guys for future eps. Simple as that!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Thanks so much for the community support!

Good idea, but keeping it open like that can cause some random dude to delete everything.

Looks like someone already tried that. Luckily Google Docs has version control.

Yeah, I'll put up links and stuff into the spreadsheet soon. Not really sure when I'll be able to commentate, though, yet. What time does STGW usually stream at on Sundays?

Also, I heard someone mention Samidare earlier. I'd be interested in seeing a Samidare episode or Samidare + some other games. Just thought I should voice that.

Gonna second this. Someone did it again a few hours ago and google didn't bother to save my additions before then, so I couldn't restore it from a revision. Maybe make a google forms thing?

PLEASE lock that spreadsheet, some fuckface keeps deleting everything and I have no fucking idea why Google isn't saving my additions in the revision history.

Google Docs should be saving your changes. Usually you have to "view more" (or whatever that button is) when you open the Versions panel to get the full revision history.

Okay guys, I've locked the Google sheet. Just PM me with what you want to put on it, and I'll put it up. The Google doc is still available to view so you can keep tabs on what you've put up already. I'll try out Google forms and see if that'll work later today!

Thanks for your patience and I think we've got a great thing going here! The haters hate because they don't play the game. Hahaha.

Yeah, that was me. The main game + extra totals to only about to a bit less than 30 minutes, so I figured it'd make sense to show it's sequel RefRain in the same episodes like they did with The Tale of Altynex.

By the way, does anyone know of any good (and free) video making program? The replay's I have are actual replay files so I'd need to record them playing myself.

Apologies. #70 with DEL on MMP Manpuki is post-poned to next weekend @ 2pm CST (Same time as this week)

Mostly due to Sodamachine being in severe back pain, he is unable to host the stream for us.
