Raizing PCBs: Korean Versions

Post by soupbones »

Hey guys -

Just wondering if there are any quality differences with the Korean versions of some Raizing PCBs. I have the opportunity to buy Sorcer Striker and Kingdom Grand Prix, and want to be sure there's no real differences with the quality of the hardware.

Also, is there a differnce between a "Licensed" version and a "Standard" version of Sorcer Striker? :? The Standard version is $50 more...

Thanks!

Lower build quality, sound not as good.

Ah - thanks, that's what I have recently read.

Might pick them up regardless - since locating those 2 games has been next to impossible for me for the last few months. :(

It also sounds like the Standard and Licensed versions have differences in build quality as well. Licensed versions sound like they can be a bit of a mess...

Thanks again man

If it was just built in Korea but has all the same chips, the sound hsould be the same - you can spot the licensed ones a mile away because theres a chip missing near the amp.

Probably coin lockout, it's a popular type of function to omit and save money.
