Atomiswave to RGB scart

Post by Beaps »

Hi all

I am trying to connect my Atomiswave mobo to my BVM via RGB scart. I have taken the RGB Sync & ground from the jamma edge and the picture displays fine but I have loads of interference on the screen. I have tried grounding the RGB wires and nothing changed. I am not using any resisters and I have nothing connected to the AV control (pin 8 )

Has anyone got any ideas?

how are you powering the Atomiswave? It looks like power supply noise.

I think that's your problem. You should get one with higher amps on the +5V. But even with adequate power the quality of supplies can vary.

OK I have sorted it, it is the power supply. Can you suggest a power supply to use?

Not really. An arcade one? I had mixed results with PC ones. I wonder what those consolized arcade sellers on eBay use.
