NOS VsCity panel. At last! I originally wanted a 1L6B NAC one but they look a bit bland and grey for my liking, this one is really bight and colourful and has more of an ST feel ;) I never play 2player games on my cab, I'll be lucky to convince my mates to play me a round ST anymore :/ And beside, playing in the dead centre of the screen just makes more sense.

May not be very special for some, but I'm thrilled that these came in.

4 packages from 4 different people arrived today, 2 from Japan and 2 from the States. Delivered by 3 different postmen. Had I not taken the afternoon off because I wasn't feeling too well at work, I would have missed the delivery people and gotten these next Monday or something. What are the odds of all this stuff coming in all at once? Now that's got me felling a bit better :)

I need to pick up a few more things but I feel that's a good start. Very happy about the recapped/s-video/hucard region switched duo!

I got these here in recently for my PC:

Edirol MA-15D monitors. Using analog line out on the Realtek ALC889 always gives me nasty crackling noises; using TOSLINK completely solves that problem. The speakers also sound really nice to my ears, and the plethora of inputs on there is highly useful as well.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Absolute quality. ^__^ In case you didn't know, MD Splatterhouse Part 3 and FC Double Dragon II are both way better than their US counterparts due to tougher rebalancing.

Once I finally got that RGB mod done on the AV famicom I had lying around for over two years along with a boxed copy of Castlevania 3 and Super C for even longer... I started on a famicom kick. Some how I got back on a Mega drive kick along the way.

Been trying to finish/polish of the MD collection. Still have a few left. But have most the really pricy ones done. I've been getting lucky though. Splatterhouse 2 and 3 I got for 50.00 shipped each. Holy diver was 50.00.

I got those Ninja Gaiden 2 and Double Dragon 2 boxed for 60.00 shipped. Plus they were in the US so I had them in two days.

Ugh... This famicom stuff is pricy.

Just saw this; I haven't been on the forum in a bit. A couple of weeks in, I can recommend the 500 without any reservation. It's supposed to get 40 mpg highway, but I've been getting 42 out of it, and it's a lot of fun to drive!

I see ChuChu Rocket! sealed DC copies at similar prices, but considering my way of living these days, GBA port is more likely to get played at all.

Judge Dredd: Dredd vs Death tends to be taken for a joke, but I always liked the premise of Arcade challenges (the one and only PC FPS I know to try filling TimeSplitters' shoes). At least on paper it looks TimeSplitters-like. We'll see.

Found a NES30 for a whooping $30 with international shipping included, so I decided to give it a shot. I like how it came with a key fob and the box looks like the system.

It's been years since I've held a NES controller in my hands (I only have the dogbone controllers for my AV Famicom) but it feels pretty much what I remember. That is to say, slightly uncomfortable. My hands are also a tad too big for it, so it's not going to be my number one controller of choice, that's still the Saturn pad.

I also managed to pair it up with my Wii, so that could open a whole lot of fun times. Apparently it's even possible to play New Super Mario Bros. Wii with it.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Those are nice looking consoles (the PCE CoreGrafx), enjoy!

Shonen Knife is still around??? I remember the album Let’s Knife but never became a big fan.
