When the next version of MAME (and therefore MAME Plus) is released, I'll link that here, as that'd be the preferred emulator. For now you can use MAMEUIFX, as it has autofire, but it's kind of shitty. Not sure when .155 will go live yet.
The set name is hachamfb, by the way. hachamf is broken and will probably continue to be broken for a while.

HMF is probably my favourite NMK game. It's also their most difficult, so be prepared for quite a rough introduction.I haven't actually played NMK before; would HMF be a good intro to them?

Amazing work, looking forward to trying these out. I can't remember, what problems remain with Gunnail's emulation? Was sound the last thing, or are there other issues?

MAME Plus updated its SVN to support Raiden II / DX, has the NMK sound fixes in for it as well. I compiled a few builds myself as I don't trust other sites that much anymore, links in the Seibu thread for anyone who wants to try it out without using EmuCR and the like.

What's the problem with EmuCR? I can't remember when I last went there (probably for CaveUI 1.3.3, thinking bout it), but I also can't recall having issues with anything I grabbed from there?

EmuCR don't test their builds, they just pick random SVN revisions, they are not involved in the development of MAME, they have no idea what makes for a good / safe revision to use.
also sometimes they seem to end up packaging the wrong compiles, or doing non-clean compiles with random bugs.
unfortunately this is common with a lot of sites that package MAME, they often fail to include the correct HLSL sub-folder, or the correct hash folder (needed if you want to use NeoGeo multi-slot support for example)
other problems with builds from random sites is they often include unannounced, or dangerous patches (yes, patching every game in MAME to run at 60hz is dangerous, it seriously affects game internal timing)
if you download an official build from either mamedev.org, or another actual developer (such as myself) then you'll get official code only (no unannounced modifications) and it will have have been tested, and based off a safe revision.

For anybody who wants to play Hacha Mecha Fighter (the unprotected bootleg ROM trap released), you need both the NMK sound ROM and the standard (encrypted and unplayable) Hacha Mecha Fighter ROM. Just wanted to save you guys a bit of trial and error
