DVDO iScan remote control replacement?

I have a VP50, and I think the remote is dead. Is there any other kind of universal remote which will work on DVDO iScans?

The DVDO code set is usually available in the larger IR databases, so if you get something programmable, you should be able to load the IR codes.

Whatever you can pick up cheaply. For example I guess that the lower-end or mid-range Prontos can be found quite cheap.
