I think I've said this before, but Youtube comments on Robin Williams tribute videos.
It's my theory that a person's overall value can be calculated entirely based on their opinions of, and amount of respect for the dead.
edit: Completely unrelated, but I don't want to double post.
I just found out that there isn't going to be a story mode, or any cutscenes in the new Smash Bros games. Wtf?! "Hey, you know the story mode that everyone loved in Brawl? Let's gut all that." Apparently he (forgot his name, but he's the lead dev) got all butthurt about people uploading them on the internet. Seriously?! Letting something that happens on the internet impact a decision you make in real life is NOT the way to live! I'm also going to point out that one of these cutscenes was uploaded on the official site BEFORE the game was even RELEASED! This story mode complete with amazing cutscenes breathed life into the world of trophies that is Super Smash Bros, and they just snatch it away in the very next iteration, returning it to it's previous flat state. They're probably going to add a half-assed adventure mode like Melee had. It was fine in Melee because that game came before Brawl, which further evolved said adventure mode into the awesome spectacle that was the Subspace Emissary. As far as I'm concerned, nothing could replace that mode. They'd better have saved some super kick-ass announcements for last, otherwise, there's no way this game will be able to make up for this abominable excuse for a decision.

Unexpected site re-designs.
The new Paypal site, it's absolutely terrible. Slower, harder to navigate, less information presented, huge fonts waste endless screen estate, useless banner with 3 options which eats about 100 pixels of height alone.
Just .. make it stop, sack those web designers. No, kill them. Kill them with fire.
This is on top of Dominos replacing their fast and functional site with a horrendous sluggish flash/js nightmare last week. It doesn't even work on some browsers, at all. Once you suffer through the animated menu system (which hides options you aren't changing, cheers guys), the checkout button doesn't work.

Must be the obsession with being tablet/smartphone friendly but just leaves everything looking like the same shitty website with a tonne of white space and ambiguous "friendly" rounded buttons everywhere. It reminds me of the horrific HR software we have to use at work, which features such delights as a button with a cross in it that you're somehow supposed to know means "log out". Something wrong with writing "log out", "settings" and the like? It's like looking at the buttons in a car or an IKEA manual, clearly designed to be multinational but often barely comprehensible.
I had to go on the classic site to actually find half the stuff I was looking for, for some reason ithe new site only showed up two addresses - one had "edit" underneath and the other "delete". WTF is that about?
Please stop making everything look like a shitty Apple knockoff. I have a hard enough time with websites that squish all their information into a 4:3 space. TV stopped doing that a decade ago, keep up!
Re: Little things that annoy the hell out of you
Lord Satori I seriously doubt the producers at Nintendo would allow a story/adventure mode to be removed from smash 4 just because Sakurai got angry at a leak. Smash is all about multiplayer though, but I do agree Brawl was a rather complete entertainment package, even if i can't stand how damn slow and floaty it is.
What annoyed me the other day is this: I was at a Smash Bros tourney, in a quiet moment I'm sat playing Ketsui Death Label on my DS and some asshole comes up and says "is that some kind of touhou rip-off game"

People who put spot lights in their back yards that could replace a lighthouse. We got one pointed right at the back of our house and when the motion sensor set it off it shines right into my window. If you had a ship horn sounding as well it would be like the Titanic was aimed right for my bedroom.
I don't mind lights, but I don't understand why they need to be so bright. I hope all the flying insects for 30 miles around nest on their nice little lamp.

How is it that one of the smallest nations in the world has the longest addresses?
Example:
Jonathan Q. Teatime Esq III
34 Knob-Gobble Union rd.
Old Stickynickel on Tymm
Tinkleberrytown, Smeg
LHZ WE7
U.K
WTF is going on over there?

And half of it doesn't even matter anyway because all postie looks at is the first line and postcode. If that. I've had post delivered that's addressed to the same number on a different street, but because the postcode was wrong it came to me. Pay attention 007!

Re: Little things that annoy the hell out of you
Youtube apparently introduced a feature sometime that allows you to "disable replies" on your comments. If you comment on a video, you can actually click on a drop-down menu to disable any direct replies to your comment (or any other comments people replied to you), thereby allowing you to censor others to an extent and make it difficult for people to respond and make criticism of a specific comment directly (they'd have to make a new comment on the video instead of replying directly to your old one).
Freedom of speech also requires the freedom to comment and criticize. It's why I hate videos that disable commenting entirely.

That doesn't sound too bad. Youtube comments are braindead anyway and having an empty comments section means I can load the Recommended column without also loading the chain of comments.videos that disable commenting entirely

Re: Little things that annoy the hell out of you
It's actually problematic when you want to ask a question in regards to the content of a video, which open commenting could be useful for generating a response (for instance even if the creator doesn't log in or respond, someone else might) but if commenting has been disabled, it's far more problematic to ask a question about something in the video. Case in point (I've complained to him about this before): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKyL1GDVj2Y

And uh, when/where?

That's currently just a convenient place for me to stick replays related to discussions on here. This is the only forum I use and I'm always about, so I figure that's at least 95% of viewers a thread reply/PM away. I know there are good people on YT, but I can't be bothered engaging with the wider internet right now.
When I'm able to hardware capture (rather than relying on falsificaretastic emulators for their AVI writing) I'll start running it like a proper channel. ^_~

Well, if it covers the history from when FPS games turned from an immersive experience inside a character's head into a bland blob of sameness, that's one thing, but it is quite another to call that period "vivid".

All the vividity of grey and brown.
Also lol @ "back [...] to the first and second Halo games." So I guess all the actually good FPSs don't count then?
