ligawo convertor help please

I just bought a ligawo bnc to vga/hdmi convertor for use with my hanzo dreamcast vga box and I'm having trouble getting to output to hdmi. here is the model i bought.....http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ligawo-Converte ... +Upscaling

it seems like my tv is getting a signal but cant display it. anyone got any experience getting this to work. I am connecting my hanzo to the legwo via a vga cable and then plugging a hdmi cable into the output and then to the tv.

From a quick look at the description of the scaler it doesn't look like it can convert the VGA input to HDMI output. Only VGA passthrough and BNC input to VGA and/or HDMI.

I've been going through the description twice now and still don't know which kind of signal that box is supposed to accept....

should work, yes. You want a converter that doesn't do any scaling.

My wild guess is composite since I had a similar BNC to VGA converter (forgot what name brand). Unfortunately you probably better off with the other one you linked.

What happens ? I have maybe ten different VGA to HDMI converters and maybe one's not working with the DC. The DC does output VGA with a little too high voltage levels. This can throw off some converters, but usually not to the degree that it's not working at all.

it does nothing, as if there is no signal at all, just a black screen on my panasonic and a blue screen on my toshiba

my hanzo works fine when plugged into either a monitor or my tv via vga. but nothing seems to work when trying to do vga-hdmi
