PS4 Arcade Stick

I'm shopping around for a nice arcade stick for playing shmups on my PS4 (and which ideally could work for PC as well). From the looks of it, the only real entry in the PS4 space is the Real Arcade Pro V4 HAYABUSA. Are there any alternatives? Also, if someone owns the V4: do you know if it can be used to play games on the PC?

What shmups are there to play on the PS4 right now? The only PS4 shmups I know about are Resogun and Titan attacks, neither of which are "true" STGs (one is a defender clone, the other is a Space Invaders clone)

I'm pretty sure other than the Hayabusa there isn't anything out yet currently although I'd imagine with Guilty Gear coming out this year we'll start to see em trickle in

The PS4 uses a BlueTooth adapter inside the gamepad that refreshes the connection every 7 minutes. So far, the PS360+ arcade stick PCBs are compatible with the PS4 through a recent firmware upgrade, but as it lacks the BlueTooth adapter it will be disconnected after 7 minutes. So you'll have to either go with the options available now, or wait and see.

Aren't most fightsticks wired though? Why would a lack of bluetooth matter for a wired controller?

Because the bluetooth check is a sort of security/protection and that's why it checks every 8 minutes, wired or not so you don't use unauthorized 3rd party controllers/devices.

Exactly. It's something unique (so far) for the PS4.

Of course, I really want to use them on Xbox One since Qute is releasing on that platform...

The stock 360 sticks will definitely not work on Xbox One.

360 stick will only work on a 360.

Buy a CronusMAX and you can play your sticks on PS3/PS4/Xbox360XboxOne/PC.
I got one and very happy with it!

They are banned at fighting game tournaments if you're into that thing, that's the only negative as far as I can see.

For a good reason, you can do automated sequences with the CronusMax - which is great for certain games btw
Just don't use that when you are in a competition.
