creepy mascots
creepy mascots
Are there any mascots that you find creepy? I find the Burger King guy somewhat creepy, because he's a stalker. He sneaks up to someone and hands them a sandwich! WTF?!? Plus, he wears that mask so he never changes expressions and always has that dumb smile.

Ronald McDonald has always been a bit creepy to me...
I don't need some clown putting his 'special sauce' in my burgers thank you very much.
funniest thing I've seen all week

You're arguing for a universe with fewer waffles in it. I'm prepared to call that cowardice.
Clowns are creepy by nature.benstylus wrote:Ronald McDonald has always been a bit creepy to me...

Wario used to creep me out as a kid, due in part to this ad for Super Mario Land 2
Now he's my favorite Mario character besides the Bros.

I don't know about "Creepy" but the Athens 2004 Olympic mascots were by far and way, the most retarded looking ones to ever grace the games.

Oh and The mascots of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games, look a bit creepy:

Well you beat me to the punch on that one, the Burger King guy pretty freakin creepy if you ask me. I also cannot handle that grinning douchebag that was in those "male enhancement" commercials that comedy central used to run ad naseum. Mercifully, they seemed to have eased off on the advertising of that stupid pill lately.FatCobra wrote:Are there any mascots that you find creepy? Same thing goes for the Trix commercials... After so many years of those obnoxious brats not giving the rabbit a bowl of cereal you just wanna take a shovel to them!BulletMagnet wrote:Someone I used to know hated Snuggles, because she felt sorry for the porcupine who tried to fill in for him and would always be rejected, as he'd protest in his raspy Bronx accent...Kiken wrote:You mean Snuggles?

It's just a damn bowl of cereal (read: sugar)! Give it to him already!

You do realize, of course, that this opens up a whole new can of worms...for instance, how do you feel about the hapless Lucky the Leprechaun? Is he a selfish sonuvagun for constantly trying to keep the Lucky Charms for himself, or are the constant dogged pursuits of the always-appropriately-ethnically-mixed crowds of cartoon kids too much for anyone to bear?Kiken wrote:Same thing goes for the Trix commercials... With Lucky, there are two possibilities:BulletMagnet wrote:You do realize, of course, that this opens up a whole new can of worms...for instance, how do you feel about the hapless Lucky the Leprechaun? A: He's the most inept leprechaun in the history of leprechauns. He can't even graduate past hiding cereal from kids. Do you think the rest of leprechauns want him guarding a pot of gold?
B: He's the PR cover-up for the real leprechauns. Lucky tries just hard enough to not successfully hide bowls of sugar from kids, thus taking the focus away from the gold.

I completely forgot about the "natural male enhancement" guy. His grin is quite creepy.Jon wrote:Well you beat me to the punch on that one, the Burger King guy pretty freakin creepy if you ask me. Ha! You guys think all that is creepy?
You haven't seen the *^%$#@! horror that are the spongmonkeys (*retches*) used in the Quizno's ad. It's like you have a deceased relative look at you from the bottom of a grave and recriminating you for something you did to him/her.
Please, no one post a pic of those abominations. For whatever you hold dear, please don't. I'm serious.

Yea, I gotta agree here with that. Mainly because the Burger King guy has the very same expression as the weirdo fuck neighbor who exposed himself to me.
Speaking of which, that creepshow has since moved away. Good ridance!!!
I wish I hadn't seen them. They are far worse than the Burger King guy and I think the Burger King guy is extremely creepy.Specineff wrote: You haven't seen the *^%$#@! horror that are the spongmonkeys (*retches*) used in the Quizno's ad. Sonny's (the Cocoa Puffs bird) recent nudity creeped me out as well, what happened to his shirt and pants? O_oBloodreign wrote:I was never big on that Cocoa Puff bird, now he no longer wears clothing, and the worst thing that ever happened was when Snap, Crackle, and Pop were demoted from Cocoa Krispies commercials and a stupid monkey (appropriately named Cocoa) was used for a while.
