Differences between Silver Screw and Black Screw GunCon 2?

Are there any differences between the silver screw and the black screw GunCon 2 controllers? I believe the silver screw version say Made in China and the black screw version say Made in Japan.

I've had the silver version that came with Time Crisis 2 Bundle and the trigger broke in about a month. I then bought the Time Crisis: Crisis Zone bundle and to my surprise the screws were black and it said Made in Japan. I also noticed the quality felt much better with this newer version and the color is slightly different.

Does anyone have both versions to take some comparison pictures of the inside?

Checked mine, all say Made In Japan, all are too weak for how much I play...

Agreed. The trigger design is terrible on the GC 2. It uses a very thin plastic tab to press the fire button which starts to bend or crack over a short period of time.

My GC 1 still works fine and from what I hear they tend to last longer as the trigger tab is much thicker inside.
