To save my time and patients are there any PS3/PS4 static platformer/puzzlers akin to Bubble Bobble/Dondokodon?
Its one of my favourite genres that I think has missed at least 2 generations if I am not wrong.
I would like to see a HD static platformer that has some innovative puzzle design. Would be pretty cool (for a change).

Static platformers on nextgen?
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.
Re: Static platformers on nextgen?
This might be something of interest. Towerfall Ascension is a static platformer with a focus on combat.

Yes please make static platformer/puzzlers ports, games or remakes
Towerfall Ascension looks hideous, my eyes. What were they thinking?
It will bomb and other studios will be like"... and we all know how that turned out". It's really cruel to fans like us not seeing more of the single screen games.

There's always N/N+. Dunno if the series has made it to next gen or not.
Can't see as how static platformers differ philosophically from scrollers. I guess being able to see the whole map from the outset? Aban Hawkins and the 1000/1001 Spikes would probably scratch that itch. The latter is on WiiU, at minimum. The former is on XBLIG. Otherwise, check your latest Mega Man entry/clone.
There's also that Temple something or other series on XBLIG. Can't recall the exact name, but there are two of 'em and they're good.

Instead I am stuck in the America's where women rule with an iron crotch, and a man could get arrested for sitting behind a computer too long.
