That's the first time I hear about this game... the original Shining Force being the first (and one of the very few) RPG I finished, I wonder is this PS2 installment any good? Has anyone ever played?

Didn't touch it, but in anticipation, I translated an interview with producer Youichi Sakamoto. Looked to be a decent game, but Tears was a let down, so I let it go.

Uh oh, it seems like they went in a very different direction... action RPG, emphasis in leveling up...

I don't think that's the kind of game I'd enjoy...

The sad thing is that Tears was beautifully illustrated -- true high res graphics. It just got really redundant.
