That Ninetail game seems to be cool, maybe more of a Run n Gun then shmup but still looks cool, Also the one from PlatineDispositif seems to be in the kind of Star Force style.

I've been looking forward to Ninetail for a while now.

As far as original shmups go, the cupboard is very bare this time around. There is a more comprehensive list here, but there is a lot of information missing or conjecture, and many of the circle websites themselves are not kept current, so it's difficult to get a sense of what is a trial or prototype and what isn't. The only new shmups on my shopping list that I can only suspect are finished are Phantazma and 雪晶石～MaliceEater～.

Found the homepage for the first game, the Ikaruga-clone, here. Apparently called Madara Zakura.

Ninetail seems something to look out for, and PlatineDispositif's game could indeed be something, but it doesn't even have a name yet? And what's up with the score counter?

Not really surprising that Yuyu Sansan (or whatever he's called)'s done another Touhou+Non-Touhou hybrid. Clearly most folks followed my take on Thunder Faith when mjclark made a thread about it and pretended it didn't exist.

To be fair they still both look better than some games I've played, and Thunder Faith's music was actually rather memorable. Hopefully he's learnt not to pull completely stupid shit like undodgeable lasers for later stages.
