Funnily enough I now choose to use IE at home. I never thought the day would come, but after my last switch to Windows I thought I'd give it a try and it's stuck. Helps that Adblock is available.

Genuinely comfortable using it, and it has by far the best rendering at non-standard font/DPI sizes out of the big three. Damn quick too.

What most people fail to remember or don't know about is that back in the days IE actually is responsible for a bunch of things we're accustomed to as web developers today. But yeah, after a while when M$ forced IE into Windows it went downhill, and fast.

I'm using a combo of Chrome and IE both at work and home. They both have their pros and cons, but on a W8 pad the MUI version of IE works ace.

While I have to agree that IE's web monopoly was the shits, late 90s-early 00's were easily the best times I personally had online. Sure it wasn't visually pleasing, but it still provided plenty of (anonymous) joy. Kind of like a fat stripper.
