I really feel for you guys, this is sort of unreal.
Though I can understand a bit since in the small city where I come from we have recently elected a new mayor whom we didn't really know much about, and found afterwards that he's a total corrupt, incompetent and probably part of a crazy cult asshole. *facepalm*
Heh, we had enough of the former and he was the only other candidate...
Looks like any weirdo can be mayor nowadays.

A very simple watercolor painting of Opa Opa from Fantasy Zone that my girlfriend made for me.

I took xkcd's imaginative portrait of the great genius as a sign from the heavens that I shall not roam this earth avatarless anymore.

A small bit of the amazing cyborg typing scene from the '95 Ghost in the Shell movie, edited to loop.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

Mine's this excellent fanart of Laden from Elemental Master:
Spoiler
Image
Found it here: http://vgjunk.tumblr.com/post/229091154 ... its-pretty (via google image search). Have no idea who drew it unfortunately :(
I chose it because I wanted a shmup related avatar, and I quite liked the atmosphere (especially the music) from Elemental Master, plus it has a character with a face (Not that I mind games that only have a ship or anything)

I was a paramedic for six years and did my clinical education in New Orleans. My avatar is the wrought iron art above the entrance to the former Charity hospital in New Orleans. Amazing art for an amazing hospital.

It's been a long time since I've seen Ghostbusters, but I'm pretty sure Sigourney Weaver didn't play Gozer. She got turned into Zuul.

My avatar is Mr. Cameron Giles, of course.

You're sure to be in a fine haze about now, but don't think too hard about all of this. Just go out and kill a few beasts. It's for your own good. You know, it's just what hunters do! You'll get used to it.

The eye of the dead whale in Werckmeister Harmonies, in my opinion one of the most powerful scenes of cinema, from a movie that's very dear to me.

I'm a huge fan of BFC, but I'm just a toy trying to find my own style (it's been 3-5 years and it's probably going to take me decades haha). Never mess with anyone's work. I have a few friends that are pretty deep into it who are the ones who got me hooked and taught me the ground rules.

when my buddy was doing research in germany last year I had him actually go take pics of broken fingaz wall in berlin and I went and sought out ROA's work in Chicago not too long ago.

I've been writing for about 15 years and still consider myself a toy! ;)

ROA's stuff is fantastic in person, amazing stuff. MovingTarget just posted a nice sketch in the 'Who Draws?' thread too. Seems we have a couple of writers here at shmups farm.

ahh, nice. I'll have to subscribe to that thread. I'm not nearly as skilled as that - I mostly been working on different characters in more of a tongue in cheek latrinalia sense haha. it's a lot of fun and I love writing and writing culture even if I'm not skilled :P

my main goal is to establish my own style but somewhat similar to what horfee has been doing.

My avatar is an alias of a musician known as Renard Queenston called "The Quick Brown Fox". He is a Speedcore artist. The picture specifically is some scaled-down wallpaper I have.
