Maximum Impact 2 was actually pretty good, a big improvement over the atrocious first game.

I tend to think of the MI games as being a separate series, though, and the "KOF" being just branding, along the lines of "Mega Man" Zero.

Still, it's a little disappointing to abandon sprites after KOF XIII, which looked and played great.

Yeah, I too think that the reason why fighting climax has been succesful is not related to fighting games

The game is ASS, already unib/el was heavily toned down from what mbaacc was, and this was yet again dumbed down so the fans of the series will spend lods of emone on it, it's just a desperate cashgrab from furapan, at least p4u1 was kind of decent, and p4u2 is looking really neat.

Mori already said that there will be another one, cp2 is coming out in arcades in a few months, so i dont see bb4 coming out earlier than fall '15 on arcades

Considering how they handled CS, you can probably look forward to CP Extend next year as a standalone game with no DLC upgrade option.
