Yeah.. they have this Gizmondo store here in London on Regent St.
I remember when it opened. They had hired some gorgeous babes to promote the device for opening day. This was the only reason worth going in that shop for.
It's been what... a year now? since the opening and they're still trying to flog it for £199 over at Maplins. Rather than advertising it as a gaming device however it's now presented as a GPS unit.
When it hits £4.99 in some bargain bin I'll consider picking one up.

Yea, I bought one and I don't think it's bad at all. The support might be dead already, but the games are pretty good. I like the Fathammer Classics and POD is back with updated visuals. Trailblazer is as good as ever. The system could never survive in today's world, but it is far from just flat awful.

If anyone didn't see this coming, please don't EVER get a job in a gaming company who want to make a new handheld
I wonder if this means all the investment capital they spent on fast cars and giving HIGH paid jobs to their girlfiends, has to be accounted for?

Yea, Angel Fish is on the Fathammer Classics compilation. To be fair, it is a bit slow and the music is irritating. But, it is better than 95% of the games I have played on the PSP. The Gizmondo cannot hold a candle to the DS, but I certainly enjoy it more than anything on the PSP. In fact, the only thing I touch on the PSP is Infected, though I do want to get Taito's Exit.
