Beautiful boxes in beautiful nick! Gradius II FC's reflective silver is the coolest thing... helluva game too, feels almost as much a Gradius Gaiden-style original project with its various shakeups. Shame it never got worldwide release, I'm sure it be a NES fan favourite today just like Umechan Team's other highlights Contra, Super C and Life Force.

My most recent FC pickup, the best Terminator game there never was. I really like it when boxarts reflect their source material this closely, virtually everything on there is recognisable in-game.

Image

I almost wish Sunsoft hadn't lost the license, it'd be nice to have next to their Batman and Gremlins 2. Actual Great Movie Licensed Games For FC/NES (everybody knows about the quality cartoon-licensed stuff from Capcom/Konami etc) might be a neat thread idea.

Ikea desktop assembled, impulse purchase on top.

I do not endorse alcohol consumption.

Alas, I'm afraid it (the furniture, not liquor) won't be perfect for mouse & keyboard gaming (that I really needn't it for actually). Not bad for eating meals at the computer I must say.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

You're a man of fine taste Strider, I'd be getting jealous a couple of years ago! Very nice copy of Metafight, mine's a tad rough around the edges. As long as it's limited to a few dings and the box is nice and sturdy I let it slide with FC stuff, though.

Sound quality is fantastic, build quality less so - the one I have has a few bits which aren't as perfect as they could be. Two others had to be returned!
i really like the sound signature of this one ,the balance out card is super badass at that price point. Too bad that the UI is so goddamn 90's or this one will be my main portable source now

Sony CFS-W401 "Sound Rider" (1987) with dual tape decks AND stereo line in so you can use it a set of speakers (like for an Xbox 360 or PC-Engine, etc.) analog tuning, 5 band Equalizer, CrO2/Metal/Normal switch, hi-speed dubbing...oh man, the works!

Where I work we frequently have representatives from our client (a major Japanese automaker) visit our offices, and they often bring various Japanese treats with them when they come. stuff like Kasutera, Tokyo Banana, Choux puffs and other things that generally don't ship well so you don't find them in Japanese markets here. It's interesting to try some of these things out, although occasionally you have no idea what you're eating until you go find it on the Internet later.

Sweet pickups. Eternal Sonata was only $12.99, Asura's Wrath was $14.99 and Gears 3 was free on a promotion

This concept is great, but it bugs me how it says Super Famicom everywhere. It should say Game Boy Advance in the same style as the Super Famicom logo. Also the box should not have the picture of the SFC, but just the GBA in the same box-art style blown up to full size.

Just my opinion but it bugs me because its a GBA aping the style of a Super Famicom, and not a Super Famicom.

What Fudoh said... good luck trying to buy one. It's like a freakin' lottery. I bought it off a kind soul who managed to overcome the odds and snag one.

Damn Strider, Reanimator avatar and a Holy Diver with the box. Very nice *Borat voice*
You just need to buy some of those famicom protector boxes now. I bought some on Ebay a few years ago but I can't seem to find them anymore! They were a perfect fit too.
