Great tune (did you know it's one of Devil Crash MD's omake tracks?). Even moreso than usual for Tecno Soft, EM's whole soundtrack is standout material.LordHypnos wrote:Elemental Master OST "Blood Stained Lake"

Stage 5 is definitely my favorite track from that classic.LordHypnos wrote:Wow, nice. I had no idea Soukyugurentai had such nice music. No idea what your theme is though.
Ikaruga has some decent music, though, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhfaQuDtZ1E
Not really your typical shmup music (though Souky also seems to have some pretty orchestral stuff, too)

Welcome to the forum! Your name reminded me of that Sonic Wings' character which has the same as you, so:hien wrote:A nice thread for one's first post I guess.

I didn't like Cosmo Babylon's spacier feel as much as the catchier Black Rain or Night Sweeper until I played HD and experienced its effect in-game - hitting its wailing climax in sync with the final and massive popcorn wave against a rushing sky backdrop, neon lasers shredding an onslaught of metal. Audiovisually, atmospherically, etc etc, that is simply a perfect moment - emphatically capped off by the scene's unceremonious and utter obliteration.hien wrote:A nice thread for one's first post I guess.
On topic: when watching some Hyper Duel video on nico, this one track really stood out in my opinion (though it's certainly no sleeper):
Hyper Duel - Cosmo Babylon
Funnily, even though it's not the longest track, the stage in game seems hardly long enough for it and it's cut short by the boss.
Totally, bro.Colonel BEEFCAEK McHARDPECS wrote:Also, speaking of old favourites... Illegal Illusion from X-Multiply. Languidly dark and dynamic in a way I don't hear often from shooter OSTs outside of ZTT. The way that dead-eyed pulse continually dissolves the forceful refrains back into nothingness is quite special.
