Full kits - CAVE
All the Cave releases have full kits?
Even all the black label ones?
Thanks!

I'm not sure what Deathsmiles II had, and I guess Akai Katana Shin probably doesn't given it's a Nesica release.

DS2 had an artwork set and Cave box but I think during its early days it was just rented out so not many kits stayed complete.

Good luck with that. Worst experience I've ever had with an arcade purchase.

Akai Katana Shin for nesica no, but Akai Katana Shin Cave Shop ltd edition for xbox 360 came as a kit in an SH3 box with arcade style pop and artworks. It's not arcade, but it is a kit.

How people can sleep without owning them all is beyond me.

Ahh, another Cave bare board collector feeling the full kit fever

Re: Full kits - CAVE
Isn't it more enjoyable to have say 6 or 7 pcbs to play instead of just 4 because you paid out the ass for some paper and a box?Casey120 wrote:Ahh, another Cave bare board collector feeling the full kit fever

At least I have a couple scraped together art sets (well only 1 is cave)...
the cardboard boxes I can only dream about

It would be but most full kits where about € 100 bucks more than the bare board so you wont be able to buy those 2 or 3 more boards for that difference .
Re: Full kits - CAVE
Well at te very least 1 more if not 2. For 4 kits worth (400 euro) I would like to think I could grab a few pcbs.Casey120 wrote:Gaia wrote:Isn't it more enjoyable to have say 6 or 7 pcbs to play instead of just 4 because you paid out the ass for some paper and a box?Casey120 wrote:Ahh, another Cave bare board collector feeling the full kit fever

These days I doubt you could even get 2 Cave boards for 400 Euros unless you're talking about the puzzle games.

Hey guys, we should have a thread about how people that buy kits are dumb. We could also discuss how port and MAME players are lesser humans.

I was just going to say that you could still get a combo (2) of these cave boards for 400euro: galuda, rade, feversos, ibara, donpachi

Do you have an actual source for that (as of this moment)? Because on shop lists they've mostly gone out of sight (like $600 for Rade).

Or how the perfected Mame of today is actually better than the board and a hell of a lot cheaper .
Buying boards really doesn't make sense any more .
Why the hell do fuckers spend so much time and even money on a dead genre anyway.
Stop playing Shumps you Sods !
Re: Full kits - CAVE
I was just poiting out the fact that you could sell all that useless paper and cardboard for some more games. If you're taking offence then you must have a stockpile of 100 euro paper.brentsg wrote:Hey guys, we should have a thread about how people that buy kits are dumb. I'm not taking offense, but I am making fun of a circular argument that's been waged here over and over and over and over. Anyways, regarding your point.. Most people that have "stockpiles of 100 euro paper" don't need to sell any of it to buy more games.Gaia wrote:I was just poiting out the fact that you could sell all that useless paper and cardboard for some more games. *looks at stockpile of 200 euro Taito paper*
*still disappointed that 23000 yen bid on a flyer didn't win an auction*

I'm always amazed that "CAVE" especially combined with "full kits" still gets so many knickers in a twist
