Are sync strippers always good? By which I mean, even when they aren't necessary, are they at least benign? Or do you have to switch back and forth between using a sync stripper for some systems and not for others?
I'm thinking about building my own sync stripper and I'm wondering if I can just leave it as part of the signal chain all the time, or if I'll have to swap it in and out?

Re: Sync Stripper
I've personally never experienced any issues with using one in-line, regardless of sync type being fed to it.
