Nice. What's on it? Is it a GST, or is arranged? I had a SMB3 7'' that I was disappointed to find was all arrange tracks. I'm guessing the 12'' has both?

Ah, that's a shame. Still, it's a cool item to have in your collection. :)

Found this in the wild yesterday:

Image

Clearly, owned by a collector, it looks new, its in a clear case, but he also only opened up the original plastic on the end to make flap so you can take the cartridge in and out, even the poster it comes with doesn't look like it's ever been unfolded. He also had Super Turrican which I passed on but now I'm regretting it... might go back today and get it.

it's probably the most standard print by Cone as most of his other stuff is... well... kind of weird lol.

are you good at writing/calligraphy?

it's actually something I've always wanted to get into but I have this innate 5th grader chicken scratch handwriting and I think I'm a lost cause. One of my buddy's who just got married had his wedding invitations done in a custom calligraphy style his friend created by hand and it was pretty impressive stuff.
I guess she charges people a decent sum to do their invites which would be something nice to have on the side.

I use all my fountain pens for illustrating and sketching. it makes the whole process that much more enjoyable.

if you're ever in the market, I can't recommend the Rotring Artpen w/ EF nib or the Platinum Carbon Pen enough:

not in the market just yet, but those are pretty reasonable in price (for a beginner like me) especially when compared the new one you just bought..

I also have a TWSBI 580 which I love (bout $50. well made, very wet inkflow)

of all my fountain pens, the Rotring Artpen is my favorite. The Platinum Carbon is great for cross hatching.

Last of my beloved UMECHAN TEAM Famicom port quartet that I needed to get, and the most lovingly presented. Gradius II might have the blingin reflective box but clear blue plastic has no equal.

can you read/understand japanese? I always wanted to check out kenzan but didn't know if I'd be able to follow the game at all.

also - yakuza 4 is a must have if you're a fan of the main series. I can take/leave yakuza 3 because I found the orphanage sections annoying.

interesting... I've played many japanese only games with guides (like moon: remix rpg adventure and ikenie no yoru) so I might have to snag it and check it out. I haven't checked out any of the off-shoot yakuza titles though I love all the main installments.

You should be they're amazing live! I got to see them in a tiny (for them) venue and it was pretty much one of the best gigs I've been to.

Any chance you'd be willing to sell 1 or 2 from the set?

They are coming to London in November, and I'm going to do everything I can to see them live. :3
Hoping to see Kalafina in Tokyo on November 1st too, as I'm over there for a week around that date. Fingers crossed I can score a ticket when they go on general sale in September.
