This might have been a valid excuse from when before the Transformers movies existed and Transformers was actually awesome.

I used the Spark ship. I like it because you can hit a single target with all eight shots fairly easily, yet still hit things off to the side while unfocused. I've gotten a 1cc before, but that particular run ended on the final boss.
The largest and easiest way to improve scores seems to be to NMNB bosses, to get the longest chain possible. I don't remember too clearly, but I think I did that on at least three of them. The first two bosses have these really random attacks I'm not very good at, and the final boss is a total nightmare, but I can usually manage it in stages 3 and 5.
I think I could improve score further by hanging around a while and destroying bosses' extra parts, making the chain even longer, but as it stands I'm not good enough for that yet.
I just bought it, I won't be able to play it for a couple hours though. There's a limit on the amount of downloads and it's set at only 5. Seems pretty crummy to enforce a download limit on a small indie game. I haven't seen a game with a download limit in a long time. Hopefully the game makes up for it but I already have a bad taste in my mouth.
I asked about that same issue earlier in the thread, and apparently the site you buy the installer from limits the amount of times you can download it, but the installer itself is DRM-free, so once you have the thing you can install the game as many times as you want.
In any event, I still stand by my earlier assertion that there's a lot of good groundwork laid here but more polish is needed before the game deserves more than "a look" from potential players. Any word on a possible patch?
That's not as bad but still pretty dodgy in my opinion.
Anyway I agree that there is some fun to be had and that there is potential for something worth spending time on but technically the game is a mess. If they do patch it, will that count as a download?
Because it's not designed to run on that size screen?
