supergrafx77 wrote:Are some import shops like Nippon-yasan just being lazy, not wanting to call the support number provided
It must be that, mate. I honestly don't think Microsoft has preferences...
Well in that case I'm going to write them a complaint. As everyone who bought from them should do.
I just "made another ticket," and wrote to Nippon-Yasan again:
Hi,
It seems Microsoft is not refusing sending replacement dlc discs to overseas sellers indiscriminately who call the support phone number I have provided you (0120 - 220 - 340, from times 受付時間:10:00 - 18:00), for the Cave Shooting Collection Kan.
So in case Nippon Yasan bought 27 orders through Amazon Jp, Microsoft Japan will send Nippon Yasan 27 discs, without needing addresses specific to each order.
Nippon Yasan will not get into trouble, as all overseas sellers are receiving the said amount of discs after calling in to Microsoft! Amazon Jp is not even involved in sending out replacement discs!
You just need one Japanese address to have the discs sent to. Please let me know that you have at least tried to call the support number. Here are the forums that I go to that seem to verify that Microsoft is sending the discs to all sellers without verifying anything: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... &start=390
Of course, I can pay the extra shipping and any other fees you might need to associate with this transaction. I would understand not being able to get the replacement dlc if overseas sellers were not allowed to receive replacement discs. However, it has been verified that Microsoft Jp will send replacement discs to you if only you call in and let them know the amount ordered. Please let me know.
So nin-nin just mailed me saying they lied and didn't ship my order and cannot fulfill, they will refund etc.
What a bunch of fuckers.
I made a furious reply to demand they at least move their asses to do the process to provide me the replacement DLC disc offered by Cave.
But I doubt such retards will even be able to do that.
Nin-nin told me yesterday that they haven't forgotten about me and that they are waiting for more replacement discs. I can't figure out why they don't just give a stock answer. I don't think I will ever order with them again.

Fuck nin-nin.
What? They didn't send you the collection pack and you're expecting them to send you the replacement DLC disc?
I expect them to do something after they let me down like a shit yes.
Any half-decent commerce should do that.
I've worked in e-commerce for years and when shit happened it was my job to do everything in our company's power to offer proper apologies and compensation for our customers.
That's a natural thing to do, save for dickheads like nin-nin maybe.
Not sending you the DLC disc is one thing but claiming to have sent you the collection pack when they didn't, breaks all the limits of irresponsibility. You're well within your rights, so carry on with the dispute.
If you still want the DLC disc, it means you can use it, which implies that you already have some games from the collection at least, right?
But anyway...If you get a refund and still interested in the collection pack, maybe you should try to buy it from another reseller, I would certainly recommend Arcade Gear.
I'm in exactly the same situation. I pre-ordered on the 7th April, they debited the full amount on the 8th April. I recd an e-mail on the 24th May to say my collection was ready and I would receive a tracking number when it was collected Amazon France. On the 16th June I received an e-mail to say they couldn't fulfill my order and I would receive a refund shortly, not even straight away.
To say I'm mad is an understatement. They have had my money over 2 months, I have received confirmation that it's in stock and now I'm not getting it.
How many other people has this happened to? Is there anything that can be done?
Xyga wrote:I preordered the pack Apr 14th, received shipping notice May 26th.
Some people I know who ordered later got their delivery, I can't believe this shit.
I can use the DLC disk, but since may I have already resold some of my standalone games (none had any DLC card).
After a few e-mails back and forth, they have said that if I pay an extra 8000yen, just over £40 they should be able to send me a collection. WTF. That hasn't helped the situation.
Let me know if you get anywhere. I have asked for my complaint to be escalated to a manager/supervisor.
This is getting better, now they're extorting money !
EDIT: I just received refund money... but it's not a full refund, they still owe me over €13.
Not only I get nothing, but they also kept some of my money.
Nin-nin are fucking CROOKS.
EDIT2: and PP are screwing me of another €10.
EDIT3: nope so far I've been screwed of a total €27.
I can't believe you guys are prohibiting my popcorn gifs, but I will just say Cave are so amusing. Just when I thought the budget collection couldn't be topped, they release one that's so supremely budget it's missing the advertised content.
I know you can't see the funny side atm since it's not exactly a small sum of money, but one day you'll look back and laugh.

From NinNin?
Yep.
I have just received my refund, on the 8th April I paid £224, the refund after Paypal fee's is £196. I'm fuming.
I've not accpeted the payment and sent them a strongly worded e-mail..

You'll no doubt be happy to know that, in French (Canadian), one of the meanings of the word "cave" is "stupid" or "dumb".
I think I pretty much have to kiss my 27€ goodbye.
They're playing dead anyway.
Again;
Fuck nin-nin, incompetent, assholes, liars, crooks.
Fuck Cave, they don't want our money, fine, I won't spend 1 more cent in my life for those idiots.
And Hail Piracy !
PayPal should take care of you. Explain that the transaction was aborted and no goods were ever delivered. There is no reason for Paypal to collect fees.
It sounds like you made a payment and they made a payment to you, rather than reverse the transaction.

I'm not sure why you continually refer to this as the budget collection in a derogatory sense - isn't that the whole point?
You get nearly all the games, a disc containing all the DLC modes and a bunch of superplay DVDs all for an extremely good price considering what it would cost to buy everything individually. I'm not a collector. I buy games to play, not display, and for those like me who just want the content it's a fantastic deal.

Because if you aren't buying/playing the PCBs you are obviously a lower life-form, and thus deserve to be made fun of.
or was is...
Because it is fun to hound people about the same stuff over and over again about a genre their isn't much to talk about when you've been here way too long.
or way it...
Because rather than see this as a second chance for those who missed out the first time the collection was released, it's an opportunity to troll the forum.

Come on guys...don't take Skykid's comments personal... I personally miss that MJ gif and I am in the group of people who got worried about the DLC disc issue.
I'm sorry to hear Nin Nin is screwing a lot of people. I've had a good experience so far and am just posting this response I got from them to maybe give some hope. I'm not hopeful though.
Hello,
We wait again the remplacement disc by Microsoft.
Really sorry for delay.

This is what I got:
Hello
Microsoft send the dlc discs one per one because we ask them a lot of dlc discs for our customers.
Don't worry, I hope we send you soon
We ask you to be patient.
