Cave superplay translations anywhere?

Post by Jonst »

The strat threads on this forum are awesome and all,but I've always wondered about what the cave superplay dvd's are saying, pop up text,I imagine giving hints about whatever and the interviews in the accompanying manuals. Is there anywhere,I can read about this stuff in English? Apologies if it's a stupid question or there's a thousand old threads about it.I just love the superplay stuff,of course they're awesome to watch without knowing japanese but i would love to know what they're saying! I've seen other translation stuff to do with cave, which is great but I'm particularly interested the dvd's.

I was actually thinking of compiling screenshots of the texts, now that I have cave's stg collection, into zipped folders for someone blackcloak? Pestro78? to translate.

that would be great. :)

Another interesting thing to translate would be the player notes at the end of the DVDs.
I only have the DFKBL one, with GFA2-ISO, chrono and TAB-t.n.'s comments. I translated a bit of those but my Japanese is still pretty basic.

I just started working on a translation of Caladrius but I can park that and focus on this instead if blackoak is busy?

I would love to see the translation as well! Beautiful art and I guess there is a story going on there. As good or bad as it is, I would still like to know the dialogue.
