Hopefully it will see a release on Steam as well.

Re: Revolver360 Re:Actor coming to PC in English via Playism
It was already released on japanese Playism at the same time as Astebreed. Nice to hear they're localizing it. I hope the leaderboards are merged with the original release.
There's not much of a language barrier in the original japanese release since there's barely any text outside of the system manual. The only problem for me was with the challenge mode objectives but even those are easy enough to figure out since there's only about four different objectives in total.
Survival in the game is really trivial, and there isn't actually any penalty for getting hit at all. The scoring system and level design are complex though so performing good scoring routes isn't easy at all. Apart from the 1cc aspect I think it's a really fun score attack game, feels like a modern caravan stg. Challenge mode levels are far more challenging to clear and force you to learn all kinds of advanced scoring techniques to pass the objectives.
For anyone interested here's the highest scoring replay uploaded by the WR holder: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm23711096
Strategy thread I wrote near release, describes the system in detail
