"Unlimited" arrange tracks for stages 4 and 5, and updates to old tracks (listen to Evil Miasma towards the end)

I think if you want two player you need something like this:
1) Plug in two controllers.
2) Player 2 can play with controller 2, player 1 can play with controller 1 or keyboard.

If you are on Nvidia, find your corresponding option and go from there.
Here is the Nvidia control panel setting to stretch by aspect ratio, for those of you who don't know this:

I'm not really impressed with this fullscreen "fix". I'm ok with black bars on the top and bottom to preserve an aspect ratio. I'm ok with black bars on the right and left to preserve an aspect ratio. But all four at the same time?

Guess I'll go back to tate and just sit really close to the screen. :/
I had the same issue after the update. Try setting and adding a custom resolution of 1280x768 in nvidia control center under display>change resolution. The game should fill the screen.

Any idea how to add a custom resolution for an AMD card? My control panel seems to have limited options because it's a laptop GPU =/.

Does that actually work for you? I already tried the Nvidia control panel stretching, and it only stretches the image vertically. That is, when stretching is enabled I get an incorrect aspect ratio that is stretched vertically but not horizontally.

Also does not work for me. 1280x768 is already in my display resolutions.

*edit*

Looks like the necessary parties are already aware of persisting issues related to widescreen. This was recently posted in Steam:

Hi, we are aware there are still problems with fullscreen and Yotsubane is looking into a better solution. Thanks for your patience.

So are any of the big youtube reviewers going to do this game? Are there people/places I should be pestering, etc?

Yeah I get a very small row of pixels on the top and bottom. Doing the math for my 1920x1200 monitor, the game should stretch to 1920x1152. I'd say that's about right.

If you're running 16:9, then I bet it's not working the same way.

Ok, I figured it out.

Apparently the display I was using simply does not react well to a 1280x768 resolution. When I switch monitors it works just fine fullscreen, no issues at all.

So I just won't be playing this game on the bigscreen, unless support for other resolutions gets added. Oh well, at least I know my graphics card isn't having issues.

It would be awesome if the fullscreen mode just uses the desktop resolution instead of making that "optimized" jump.

I tried pestering a few people, but being a person of little consequence, I had no effect. I would try asking Mark at Classic Game Room, though. He has a favorable opinion towards retro games and shmups, and has reviewed many classic shooting games before.

He'll probably review it eventually anyway, but bugging him might speed it up some =P.

Haha, not understanding the rules of the game (like using lock-on properly) and complaining that it is unfair. Classic. Though I guess this is most gamers that are not regular shmup players.

I wrote about this earlier. Keyboard controls both ships. Weird and annoying bug that needs to be fixed. The only option is using two controllers.

Has anyone gotten this to run with an XBOX 360 HORI Fighting Stick EX2 ?

The "Game Controller" widget recognizes it correctly and shows all buttons...

i'm running it on a 16:9 1080p tv and that GPU scaling thing fixed it for me.

Mark would surely review it soon(ish) if someone were to send him a steamkey. He'll probably do it eventually anyway. But yeah, it would probably be best to specify world ignition in your request...

My PC just made the bare minimum requirements with Pentium "D" 2.8ghz, so I created a steam account just to buy/play this game.

Unfortunately I have a pretty major bug where the game seems to be reading ghost inputs without me pressing anything. The menus are just jumping around up and down without the USB keyboard even plugged in. Is anyone else experiencing this? I don't have any other inputs/joysticks plugged into my PC...its making the game unplayable for me.

Beyond this the game seems to not like 640x480 4:3 displays, as in horizontal mode everything is squished. Then when I switch the vertical mode, everything is stretched horizontally. I'm hoping I can still play vertical mode by overscaning my arcade monitor to pull the aspect back into 3:4 and chop the useless top/bottom parts off.

Anyway, this is a seriously disappointing start to "PC" gaming for me.
