Supplier for fully pinned Nintendo Multi-Out Connectors

Either this is a question that's seldomly asked, or I'm failing to use the search function properly:

Does anyone know of a supplier (probably Chinese) that sells the Nintendo Multi-Out male connector, fully pinned? I'm talking about just the connector itself, not a fully assembled cable.

Obviously, there's a supplier, and from what I can gather; Nobody wants to divulge the distributor as it would cripple the large monopoly that's currently being had by a select few with this proprietary cable.

I'm more or less interested in making my own quality RGB cables. I'm sure several of you are, as well. From what I've seen, the prices are a bit inflated, and the quality isn't always superb.

Someone over at assembler was recently trying to figure out the same thing but if they ever figured it out, they never came back to say so.

It looks like the connectors used by RGA are ones from a donor cable that has been cracked open and glued back together.

As far as sourcing connectors goes, you could try working with suppliers via http://www.Alibaba.com. If you could source just the connector I'd imagine you'd need to buy 1000 of them. But if they're only $0.10 each or less, it wouldn't be very expensive! Then again, from that assembler games thread that person attempted to do this and would have had to buy full cables (like RGA).

I checked out the Assembler thread. Looks like there are no definite leads. I believe that I will contact several distributors over the pond, see what I can find.

If RGA is in-fact sourcing their male connectors from bulk cabling, they are also re-pinning the connectors. While this is entirely possible, I'm not totally convinced.

I have a cable from PlayAsia and a cable from RCA. She's using exactly the same male connector that PlayAsia uses for theirs, except of course hers is using way better quality cable. But it does appear that they are opened and sealed closed. Both PlayAsia's and RCA's are completely pinned.

I don't know for sure if she's doing this, but it wouldn't be uneconomical for her to do. PlayAsia sells the cables for $3.99 apiece, $2.90 for 10 or more, or $2.10 for 100 or more. SCART connectors can be had at $0.89, and that pretty much leaves expenses for the wire itself, and misc. stuff (caps in SCART connector, solder, flux, glue, etc.). I think that's easily doable while maintaining a fair profit margin for cables priced at $19.
