So no confirmation yet of a japanese release???
I don't have a steam account so I hope it doesn't take much longer for a disc release in japan.

Re: Crimzon Clover: World Ignition Announced at Stunfest
Are there any comparison pics of the arcade version VS the PC version? I love the game, but the graphics are rough. I keep hearing the arcade version looks slick.
Even a superplay, in high quality, would be nice. I just keep seeing 480 streams.

I've been searching the net for a while just to see what the Nesica version looks like, and I can't find anything. 480p isnt enough if we wanted to see how good the nesica version looked visually. Crimzon Clover has a tendency to really mess up videos due to how colourful and flashy it is. Really want to see what improvements were made. Anyone got videos?

Yeah, I would love to see it too.
For the record, I think it's put to shame the last two DDPs. And it was a doujin. Blows my mind.

Though I do wonder if it will come with a warning for epileptics.
Check out this vid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pnb6oqlzdm4
If you watch it in 4K and full screen, you can really see the detail. 4K... kudos to youtube.

Thanx for posting my video
I can tell you that the difference graphic wise is another world. It's more polished and detailed, more HD kind of style. More precise. Some colors has changed too at some point too avoid some wrong choices Tac made.
I made a full report on the french shmup forum right here, but i'm too lazy too translate it

As more detail comes in I'm more excited.
Any word yet on if this is just PC steam, or PC/Mac/Linux Steam?

Re: Crimzon Clover: World Ignition Announced at Stunfest
From everything I seen so far it does not look like they rerendered the graphics with internal AA. That is about the only real gripe I had with the art, since it makes stuff pretty grainy and noisy looking. On the official CC4N page it shows the sprites under the stage section and they look the same as the ones in the PC version.-S.L- wrote:Thanx for posting my video![]()

Depends on if you prefer owning or renting your games.kevinmaccioly wrote:SHould I get the physical edition or wait for the steam one?

Re: Crimzon Clover: World Ignition Announced at Stunfest
Totally wait for the steam version; it's very different, the physical version looks almost like a beta compared to itkevinmaccioly wrote:SHould I get the physical edition or wait for the steam one?

If you can find the physical release, get it. It's a great game, and quite different than what the Steam release is expected to be.
Then also get the Steam release when it comes out.

Re: Crimzon Clover: World Ignition Announced at Stunfest
Maybe his question was "should i wait for the physical release of World Ignition or get the steam one" ?
If this was the case, we still don't know if a physical release of the WI nesica will be available, most likely no, but we never know !
If you were wondering if you should get the old "original" PC release, I think you should get it (if you find it), it's still a fantastic game.

But the Steam and physical are completely different? The Steam release will not have a "old" mode?-S.L- wrote:Maybe his question was "should i wait for the physical release of World Ignition or get the steam one" ?

Re: Crimzon Clover: World Ignition Announced at Stunfest
Let's hope this isn't like the Sora no Kiseki/Trails in the Sky release for Steam with its long delay (which has been caused by tech issues in getting an older title running, I hear). Trails is probably going to end up as a fall release by my guess.
Since CCWI is ported from a current Nesica game, I'm thinking this should be an easier job. Spring 2014 can be June. Hope it doesn't mean July.

Kinect? KIN NOT.
Re: Crimzon Clover: World Ignition Announced at Stunfest
So what's the story here, do they play on ruining this with DRM or what?
I guess we'll always have the original game but still that would be a shame.

Can we make a deal to not post in this thread before a release date is out? Good, thanks.

Well, if it's on Steam, then yes. Unless it's one of the handful of games on there that's not saddled with DRM, which I doubt.MathU wrote:So what's the story here, do they play on ruining this with DRM or what?

Hopefully, the game will get a proper release, either on a disc or for consoles. I really hate having games locked behind Steam.
Re: Crimzon Clover: World Ignition Announced at Stunfest
Most scrolling shooters on Steam so far haven't actually been crippled with DRM. It's only those shitheads at Treasure that did it with Ikaruga who have now set a dangerous precedent. Jamestown had it too briefly but the developers got some sense in them when they got on one of those humble bundle things.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Did that change recently for Jamestown? Because a few days ago looked into its folder and steam_api.dll was there. Also GOG says it is CEG-free.

I hope it doesn't have DRM, so it's easy to share to all of your friends on a memory stick.
