What day is that?

I need to give HoG more time.

And I need to sort out the meet at my place for the final release of JDE and Dan76's insects. How are people fixed Saturday 31st/Sunday June 1st. Does that suit you Dan76 and JDE?

Some friends of mine are visiting London on the 17th and they'd like to visit the HoG, so we'll almost certainly be there as well. Not sure what time yet but I'll update when I've got the details.

Both days are good for me, as long as I'm allowed to bring a non-Apple computing device (my desktop PC) into your flat to run the game on!

PC's don't work in this postcode mate! We're talking hipster belt proper!

Really, I'm no fan of being a Mac user. So bloody cliched of me. The more PC's you bring to my flat, the better!

Let me double check with my better half, but one of those days should be good.

Dan76! You have a preference?

Sorry to be a hassle, but I just realised I have a Christening on June 7th. What about Sunday 8th?

No problem. Also, I'll be at the HoG from 4PM to 6PM today - is anyone other than Blinge Trio thinking of going as well?

Had a great time at the HoG yesterday, although I mainly played The Typing of the Dead instead of any shmups!
Also, current shmups in the HoG: Ikaruga, Psyvariar 2 and Xexex.

Edit: Spadgy, I just read your Stunfest article over on Eurogamer - excellent stuff!

Sorry I didnt make it to HOG this weekend, really wanted to be there but I was working night shifts all last week so I needed the weekend to recover.

Its the school holidays next week. Anyone fancy a Sortie to Southend? Bring your buckets and spades!

I'm happy to arrange it if people feel like going :D

Only if we get to go on a bus, OAP style, grumbling about youngsters playing games on their iPhones - not real games like we played in my day - etc.
Seriously though, I'm definitely up for some seaside shmupping!

Also, I'll be visiting the HoG this weekend - I can do either day, so which is best for everyone else?

Just a quick update...

I'm not in London for the time being (maybe until early 2015), I'm living the life in Monaco, please don't miss me too much, even though i'm not there, my heart belongs to the Casino Crew

If you have cash to splash, why not bring us all over? Then we can be the Monte Carlo Casino Crew!
Sounds awesome dude, hope you have a good time while you're away. :)

Cheers mate. And they've got Typing of the Dead arcade over at HoG? Wow! I must get there ASAP!

We'll miss you mate! You're now just the Casino Crew's Monaco correspondent; there's no leaving the Casino Crew!

As for Southend; when were people talking?

This coming weekend 31st/1st I'm bloody busy with many dull things (maybe doing a house move soon; got to sort shit out  ).

But I'd still be up for having the crew over on the afternoon/evening of the 7th or 8th of June. See the final version of Dan76 and JDE's creation, and play some other stuff?

Or, we could do the Southend Sortie that weekend?

I'm still up for the sixth or seventh. If it we're the sixth, I've got some meeting in the morning, so maybe a 2pm or 3pm start? If an early start suits you guys better, maybe the seventh?

Let me know ASAP!

The sixth is a Friday so I definitely can't do that unless it's the evening. The seventh I can't do because I have to watch a small child be indoctrinated into a cult. Is Sunday the 8th okay?

I'm an idiot! Replace 6th and 7th with 7th and 8th above!

To clarify:

I'm still up for the 7th or 8th. If it we're the 7th, I've got some meeting in the morning, so maybe a 2pm or 3pm start? If an early start suits you guys better, maybe the 8th?

Rupert's on for Sunday 8th. Everyone else?

Yes captain!

Sunday it is (as I've just been told to hold Saturday as mrs spadgy is taking me out somewhere).

So, 2pm? Or would people rather start later?

I'll send a PM to the wider circle soon.

Looks like we're 100% on. does 3pm sound reasonable?

I'll PM the crew. It seems my fellow Nice Try Fighter team mates blinge and PAPER/ARTILLERY will join us too.

A 3PM start is fine, but I'll arrive at about 2:30 to set all my stuff up and make sure it's ready to go by 3:00.
See you all there!
