Obi Wan once said... (Ebay)

125 dollars for the shipping. EMS to Japan would be less than that. I thought, "what an idiot!"...

And then I saw the bid. Which brings it up to more than what the actual price of a brand new PS2 would be. Go figure.

Sometimes I wish I had been born a mindless animal. Humanity makes me sad. :?

Well, to be fair, a new PS2 still retails for $150 although deals can easily bring it down to the same cost.

ebay doesnt charge fee's for shipping costs. Only the bid amount.

He is getting what he wants for the ps2 without paying the bigger fee's associated with ebay.

I've seen it many many times, it works so why not?
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Because local shipping isn't 125 dollars, nor here or in Elbonia.

The whole point is to avoid paying shipping fees. It's no different from setting a $135 buy it now price, except the seller keeps more of the money. Well, and it makes people more likely to check out your auction I guess.

Yes, the whole point is aviod eBay charges, but this way the combine shipping changes discount formula would be mess up and can't be use.

Well, when eBay notice this listing, they would do somthing to him.
