He was great on the Jerry Springer show.

I saw the locust play in Los Angeles in 2000. Such a great show.

such a funny clip. I never had the pleasure of seeing the locust live :( but I've been a huge fan since the early 2000s.

I would be all for it and there. I don't even care if they were solely touring on new erections even though it's probably one of their weaker releases.

so good. awhile back I had a Sager NP5797 and that thing was a beast. I used to take it around to friends houses to lan vanilla WoW with them (while they were on their desktops) when it released. If you haven't done so already, I'd get a laptop cooler/fans. I'm sure they've upped the ventilation/fan system since I've gamed on one, but my sager used to get insanely hot.

enjoy man :>

Randomly found myself one of the Japanese microswitched Mega Drive arcade sticks:

Image

Filthly thing inside, had to give it a bit of a dust and re-mount the gate to get the stick working reliably but seemed okay after that.

Something Irem and something TAD. I'm gonna guess Cabal on the latter but no idea for sure.

It's a custom :) - I scanned the HU Card, cleaned the scan & printed it.

I don't usually contribute to threads like this as it always feels like a dick swinging contest... but... in this case I really need to share with people who'll appreciate what arrived today... as my wife will not! lol

sigma supergun? av model?
that's just a random guess since I don't know sigma that well and if that's what it is... that's sick as fuck. when I was on my search for a supergun, I read that sigmas are the best but I couldn't find any outside of stv/japandealer which I happily avoided.

I don't really think of this thread as a dickswinging contest but more-or-less a way to interact with other members on the forum that I might not be able to interact with in other threads. it's also a cool thread to refer to if you have some disposable cash and you want to see a buncha cool purchases other users have made. I've actually found/bought quite a few things over the past year after seeing them in purchase threads.

Brand new AV7000 and 9000TB stick :D

Man, I've wanted one of these for sooooooooooooooooooo long, I am over the moon now I've actually got one!

Sorry, I didn't mean to infer that this particular thread is a dick swinging contest, just that threads like this, at any forum, can feel like that sometimes. But, yeah to share for others to appreciate is always good :)

I needed a new bag for my day-to-day business of transporting my Macbook Pro and assorted design sketchbooks and materials to and from work, so I bought one of these Booq Boa Nerve bags. Arrived last week, love it to bits, pockets all over the place, and really spacious.

Image

Also expecting a new figure for my girls-with-gunblades collection this week: Alisa Ilinichina Amiella [God Eater] (Alphamax 1/8).

Image

One last thing I'm waiting for is the joystick that is part of my Stunfest crowdfunding donation bonus. Haven't seen the stick yet, so no idea what it is or what it looks like. All I know is that it's for X360.

No pics here, but decided to pick up a random lonely Gameport-plug Gravis pad. You know, the horrible looking cheap one with four buttons and a brass threaded hole for a stick on the d-pad. Gotta play some DOS games with it sometime. Of course, I cleaned it out thoroughly. While doing that, I went from feeling that it was a horrible cheapie, to actually being rather impressed with some aspects of the build. Overall nice quality, though there was a nick on the coating over one of the traces (what from?) and one resistor was positioned kinda strangely. But nice board layout, good soldering quality, and a very elegant use of components inside - the main component is a tiny 555 timer chip. No wonder they could make so many of these! The timer chip makes me wonder if other controllers could have gotten by with a similar chip, and whether going with that chip results in any more CPU load than an alternate deisgn. My guess is "not really" to both questions, but it's just a blind guess.
