I'm alright, thanks. I live in the North-West, where the sky is blue and the air is as crisp as the newly fallen snow.

BBC reported you could hear the explosion in Holland. Surely that would mean that half the UK population are deaf right now?
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Odd, I didn't hear a thing. Maybe they just meant that if you were in a very quiet spot in Holland at the time, you'd have heard a tiny *poof*.

i'm actually amazed that there are no reported deaths. something that can rip off roofs and blow out windows could surely disintegrate a person?

It woke me up! I live 20 miles away & at 6.00am I was suddenly awake with the building shaking and a big BOOM resounding for a few secs. I got up, looked through the curtains for fire in the sky, didn't see any and slumped back into bed.
Didn't find out what had really happened 'til the next afternoon.
