Coincidence - I was just over on AO and spotted this sold Deathsmiles kit, featuring a little plastic skeleton in a bag. More proof there's variety of 'official' contents across a given game, or something else for your 'NEVER REPRINTED KIT OBJECTS OR DISCREPANCIES' section Skyid?

Thanks cools, whups indeed it does. Do you have an image of the non-logoed?
Yeah, I think you just pasted the wrong link from this post: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... 68#p859068 :)

^ Yes I did (picture came down so slow I missed it originally!) Thanks for that, all fixed now.

@ Spadgy, I think the skeleton was a Matsuri or ATEI gift, possibly for queuing to play a game or something. I don't think it's a stock kit item.

My DS kit came with a pair of used panties.

My friendship with you came with the same thing. What a coincidence!

It looks like the order of Cave and AMI on the bottoms is also swapped around for each type.

Page 1, on the poster list, says something about a difference in the Ibara Kuro posters. Something differentiating he original print and reprint. Can anyone post what that difference is and possibly pics. Thanks!

I believe, iirc that it's to do with the placement and existence of something on the periphery: either a cave logo, artist credit, or something equally minute.

Thank you! Here is a pic showing those details.. can anyone that has this poster tell if this one is a reprint or the original print?

Yours is an original as the reprint lacks the "sale by AMI" .

I'm really happy to find that after all these years I was right about that! I knew it was something as there was a point when I had both original and reprints in my hands, but as time passes you question whether you remembered it correctly.

Thanks Casey, will update the OP.

There are actually other noticeable discrepancies with artwork reprints like darker ink tone, but most are too minor to matter. If anyone finds any other poster discrepancies please let me know.

Funny thing I noticed with the original Espgaluda POP as I had both is that an original folds close with the art printed on the outside and the reprint is folded like most ( all ?) other pop's with the art closed on the inside .
If you would force the reprint the other way you would surely crack the seam .

▲ That's interesting. I have a NOS Galuda kit, so I'll confirm this asap.

I have a feeling we're on the precipice of discovering a bunch of distinctions here.

Is this the case with more of the reprint posters than this one?

Updated OP.

Was informed by PM by a member who says he bought a Mushi Futari kit poster reprint at one Matsuri. That's the original with all logos.

I was only aware of the Futari clean (no logos) and Futari Yoko appearing at Matsuris. Apparently not. Anyone else wants to further clarify this one, feel free. It may be it only got reprinted one time, hence our collective lack of awareness.

I don't see the Mushihimesama Matsuri/Reprint in your list (as mentioned in that fs/trade thread).

Is it confirmed as B1? I skip anything that wasn't (and several were smaller).

Didn't see this covered yet, but maybe I missed it.

Just noticed last night that the Mushihimesama Futari Black Label manual has a variation.
The original has the AMI information.. and on the reprint, it is absent.

Yes, and to think some nob jockey complained so much about it originally I had to lock the thread and relocate to this one, hence the 1.5.

Please keep your image active, I've linked it for reference in the sections detailing the discrepancy.

Good find el chuddo! I have the MushiFutari BL manual as well and can confirm the AMI info on the button.

And thank you Skykid for keeping this thread updated!

It's possible that they had simply moved on from AMI by the time those items were reprinted. No idea if the other reprints are the same.

Although I think it's highly unlikely there are discrepancies between reprints, if anyone has any tangible info feel free to keep me updated. For the time being the evidence stands.

What kits/reprints have (or did they have) move-strip without glue?

I have two art sets that have just plain paper prints. These are:
- Pink Sweets
- Mushihimesama Futari (1.5)

Are these from reprint art sets or from original kits?

That is the best question this thread has has in a long time. Relevant info worth adding. I definitely know there are some kits that do have paper rather than sticker move strips but I can't remember which. For some reason I seem to recall Ibara Kuro may have had one, but I'll need others to confirm.

IIRC Futari's MS is a sticker, which would mean you may be missing the proper item.
