Gradius IV Fukkatsu weight?

Post by aoiddr »

Question: How much does a Konami Hornet system running Gradius IV Fukkatsu weigh? I found a chart that said 6400 g (14.11 lbs), so I wanted to confirm.

Trying to figure out what kind of crazy shipping costs I'm looking at for one of these. Thanks.

I don't know if its 14 lbs, but I can say that it is very large and heavy. the casing is pretty thick steel and there's a good amount of electronics in there.

It's also a large, odd size, which doesn't help

It's bloody heavy. If you take it outside of the shield case, you can save some shipping weight,
but the shield case does a good job of protecting the PCB.

You could use it as a boat anchor.

it would have been a whole lot lighter if Konami had stuck with Bubble Memory

Or at least put out one more great Konami GX game or found a way to put it on a 573... or, you know, waited and put it on the equally bulky as hell Python 2...which is literally a PlayStation 2 in a huge, oddly shaped metal box with a fan and i/o board.
