Sega Rally 2006

Post by Marc »

Seems to go for a decent price these days, how's it play? And is the bonus disc the Saturn or Coin-Op version, has it been well converted?

I don't like 2006. Doesn't play like an arcade racer.

SR95 has been converted quite nicely. Can be run in the original res (496*384) with borders or near fullscreen. 480p is supported as well. Wheel support is also available. On the other hand the Model 2 emu for PCs runs fine as well, so there isn't really any need for the PS2 version.

I'd just like it for the shelf, I like knowing that any game I love this much exists on a disc somewhere and not just on the PC. Weird about 2006, the review I read criticised it for being too simple and arcadey.

That's because it is arcadey.

It was ported by M2, so you know the answer.
